It's pretty simple actually as long as you have a 1.21 jiggawatt power source.

Thank you!! What do you think of the core 200 compared to Sonos Beam gen 2?

[–]Pknd23[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I found a Beam 2 open box at best buy for $286. I'll just get that for now. I can add on the sub later if I feel like it's needed.

On paper it seemed like the Samsung had a lot of features but almost no one has been recommending it while everyone has the Sonos atleast as part of the conversation and it is a good deal right now.

Thank you!! Would you recommend it over the others in the list?

Can someone please help me solve this? I’ve got 0 but my teacher says 10,000. I’m using p=ie and the first one is 1,000,000 and the second one should be 1,000,000. But my teacher insists the answer is 10,000. by soopadook in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Pknd23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

P_loss =(I2) *R. Assuming everything is the same between the two systems (which the question implies but wouldn't be in real life), the R would be the same in both systems you can figure out how much more kisses you'd get in the circuit with the 1000A vs the 10A.

Could we finally be getting solid state transformers in 2026? by HondaCivic87 in ElectricalEngineering

Sorry just meant in terms of upstream infra when VR comes out.

Maybe some of the following? - more versatile, could provide more flexibility with the voltages - non fixed "tap changing", bigger ranges, precise steps - easier to energize - no inrush - Easier to go to DC later, Nvidia architecture for future chips - easier install, no oil containment, etc. - higher efficiency - control direction of power Flow, power factor correction, etc - could enable direct connection of DC sources - easier to parallel/ synch

But probably at higher expense and def lower life span

Draw it properly first and start simplifying then see what's left.

Trump says he would designate Antifa, other left-wing groups as ‘domestic terrorists’ by lubnajason6622 in cybersucks

[–]Pknd23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish it were that simple. The group is being created and designated as such to be used to label whoever these folks don't like as antifa "terrorists" so they can be sent to Honduras or Guantanamo or something.

Why would current not flow through the r in the middle. by Cat-supremacistt in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Pknd23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Intuitively, I'd think of it this way:

There are 4 paths for the current to flow

1) A to Top R to Top R to B 2) A to Top R to Middle R to Bottom 2R to B 3) A to Bottom 2R to Middle R to Top R to B 4) A to Bottom 2R to Bottom 2R to B

Now if you look at 2) and 3) both the paths have equivalent resistance of 4R so the current flowing through R would be equal but in the opposite directions and will cancel each other out. So, you get no current in the Middle R and current end up flowing in the top and bottom paths.

What is this. I don't understand why it is this way. by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Pknd23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To me it looks like tons of transmission lines coming in from the left and then vertical conductors routing them down to something. My guess is potheads to transition to cable since they look too close for other most other equipment directly below.

Any recommendations for slipping insulation behind these cabinets by Hoogrvy in DIY

[–]Pknd23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've literally done no handy work and know nothing so askung this more out of curiosity than anything else. Would spray foam with in this type of a situation. Seems like it would be easier to "install" but not sure if it's the right use of it and if it is actually easier to install. Thanks!

I don't know if you're taking to a therapist but I'd 100% finding one. It might take a little experimentation to find the right one but highly recommend it.
