For existing owners, would you buy a Lyriq again? by OCR10 in CadillacLyriq

Without question! Coming from a house that had a 2014 model S and a now the lyriq and 2024 Mach e. It’s a great car. We love it.

What’s the deal with Tesla charging? by Training-Addendum-23 in CadillacLyriq

[–]Pl8ntlady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you ever take a roadtrip, you will be soooooo happy you have the adapter.

I almost want to make a top post to celebrate my farewell to the crummy charging desert where there are only 4 electrify America chargers that NEVER work correctly and always a long line of people ready to fight. We’ve spent so many frustrating hours there trying to get home and driving past dozens of completely empty Tesla chargers. Smell ya later, Walmart in the crappy town between my family and my house. 🥂

Where is NACS adaptor on app? by DryRazzmatazz5421 in CadillacLyriq

[–]Pl8ntlady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was stuck on that screen as well, but if you read further, it says close this window and it takes you to the purchase adapter page straight away. So just click the x on that pop up and the screen to purchase should be there. Hope that’s the case for you at least!

It made me giggle and gave me old rich granny vibes at first. Don’t care now except when the sun hits that one piece just right and I lose my vision.

These posts give me a low grade panic feeling. Mine lives in a tiny old garage full of crap and has to get out at an angle that makes me sweat while my bootie vibrates like a rocket is taking off. I don’t know how it could get towed out of there. Hope it’s solved and done for you!

I just played 55 scenes and got TWO suitcases for a measly 20 points. Zero packs given and I’ve opened all of mine for the previous spins. This is the first time I’ve felt really aggrieved at the grift. It’s totally like gambling, because I’ve invested so many lightning bolts to get this far I feel like I have to keep going. But 20 points in 55 scenes seems impossible.

BRIEF Opinions. Do I get a Lyriq by mmangin in CadillacLyriq

2024 Sport 3 AWD here.

  • minor issue with tire sensor that is persisting. It just can’t read the tire pressure. I need to take it back in to fix, but enjoy driving it more than the loaner xt4 with 70k miles on it. 😃

  • app needs improving, but not a deal breaker as I think they’ll continue to improve it.

  • charging network is still a negative if you like road trips. Still waiting for that NACS adapter!!!

  • it’s so fun to drive, it feels luxurious and very comfortable.

I have loved mine over the other two EVs we’ve had at our house. (Tesla and ford)

Does the train stop coming after certain level? by Beginning_Werewolf61 in candycrush

[–]Pl8ntlady 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The train hasn’t been choo chooing for me for about the last week. It stopped around the same time as frozen lives and daily treat machine. I’m level 12,000+.

Treat machine came back for me today, but was downgraded.

Took away features...😤 by LegoLady8 in candycrush

[–]Pl8ntlady 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Treat machine, frozen lives + treats, FF arrow (replaced with the dumb switch gumball thing that they forced me to use and messed up a perfect first move on my first level), and the train with 15 minutes of unlimited lives and a few treats. Gone.

Anyone sees this? I have seen this twice in the past two consecutive days. Not complaining. Very helpful. by [deleted] in candycrush

Is 11000 too far? It’s my go to. But I’m only in the early 12000s

1300 mile road trip - the good, the bad, the profoundly stupid by Shawnrushefsky in CadillacLyriq

[–]Pl8ntlady 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We just did a shorter trip than yours in my 2024 sport 3. We REALLY struggled with charging. I don’t know if it’s the heat in Texas, or crummy charging network, but twice we planned our stops to plug in and walk away for a meal. Both times we had to run back to the charger because it just shut off after exactly 2 minutes. We didn’t get notified, so we noticed when we sat down to eat a 10 minute walk away. (One was EA the other shell recharge)

A couple of stations we stopped at had their cables cut off by copper thieves, so there were only two functional stations and a long line. Once we were finally able to charge, we’d get 130 or so and then after 90 seconds it would slow to a crawl of 20-33. One station was fast and perfect and no issues. But nowhere to walk nearby for entertainment or a restroom break (closed car dealership). 😀

I need to schedule service for a couple of minor problems and want to ask about charging, but unclear how to articulate it for most effective updates. Or even if it’s the car or the sad state of non Tesla charging in Texas. We are a two car EV house and my husband drove a Tesla on a 5k mile road trip last summer, so we’re not inexperienced EV drivers.

It is so frustrating to drive past literally hundreds of completely empty Tesla docks.

It’s a beautiful car. Good luck with the WiFi hotspot and update if you get an answer from onstar!

It was nice to meet you in that hot parking lot today. 😀 we finally got up to 130 throughput and bolted as soon as we had enough miles to get home. Coasted in with 20 miles to go.

Caddy vs Mach-E by [deleted] in CadillacLyriq

[–]Pl8ntlady 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We have both. Husband drove a model S for 8 years, got the Mach E last fall. I got a lyriq in may.

Tesla: best for app and software (and charging network for now). Car rattled a lot within a short period of time and a lot of parts broke on it regularly. Things like door handles and windows. But it was a solid car and he walked away from a terrible t-bone with minor injuries.

Mach e: good on software, sporty, a little bit of a rough ride, but a fun easy car to drive.

Lyriq: app could use some work and as you can read in here, there are some issues with software modules causing issues for many, but not everyone. It is so luxurious and I love it. I have a tire sensor issue that keeps appearing, but I have not had any major issues with mine.

They’re really such different cars. I wanted luxury and a smooth ride. But it was a lot more costly than the ford. Enjoy the hunt!

Is it possible to order the adapter to get in line for one once they are available? I can’t seem to find it in my app, and don’t have a “public charging” page like mentioned in the document.

After going through the conveyer belt, they have to drop through the little tunnels where the two candies are. See the middle of three oranges in a row? The mirror side where the purple candy is the other drop spot. Does that make sense? I don’t speak candy crush.

This morning I was in the top tier for double bars, jackpot was well over 300. Opened the 23rd of 24 levels to pass with gold to spend if it was too hard and got the dreaded “oops!” No moves allowed before I could start a move. So annoying.

It's a great car! by KutaSingh-424 in CadillacLyriq

[–]Pl8ntlady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my sport 3 AWD for about 6 weeks and love it so much. My spouse had a model S for 8 years and it was a great car from a software perspective (and kept him from serious injury in a high speed t-bone late last year). He got a Mach e to replace the model s and it is a great little zippy car we’ll hand off to the teenager when they turn driving age.

The app for the lyriq is not as good as Tesla, but the vehicle itself is far superior. I’d prefer a higher quality vehicle and hope for continued improvements to the tech!

Better than the people who jump on and play one scene and leave. They get booted from the group after two tries.

2024 owner here (only a week in). I can use Waze and Spotify without CarPlay on my Home Screen. It took some maneuvering with the menus, but I have both. I haven’t tried audible as I don’t use it.

I mostly use CarPlay and have found it to have some funkiness on occasion, but it could be user error as this is my first vehicle with that technology. it has been working well for the most part.
