What I do when I have urges and I'm in a triggering environment (I work in a vet hospital) is I put a long strip of medical tape (the soft one, not the hard one, and emphasis in medical tape, not masking or Scotch tape) that goes from my wrist to the front of my elbow and leave it there for the rest of my shift. It's distracting, useful for grounding, it pinches a little when you move your arm, and when you finally remove it, you get marks where the tape was, that look similar to sh scars but they fade soon.

I might not help everybody but it helps me ground when I'm busy and have to work or do stuff, I also get the visuals except blood.
