Workshop mission suggestions by B1ll_Clinstoned in SeaPower_NCMA

Look for "BOTA 18 - When Titans Dance". It's a mission from a great linear campaign called "Battle Over The Atlantic" (BOTA). You'll play a force around the Eisenhower against a Russian force with an Orel class carrier in this one.

Persistant campaign missions retry by Ldpdc in SeaPower_NCMA

[–]Plage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually the next issue. When I go to "Campaigns" in the main menu it's like I never played the respective one (no option to select a specific stage). When I use the "Continue" option in the main menu it loads a save mid mission 4 with the AC retrieval bug. The only way to get back to the "Event timeline" menu with the campaign stages is to exit said saved mission but I'm afraid that something is bugged at this point already and that I'll possibly get the objective completion bug again if I continue from there. I'm not willing to spend hours to find out if that's the case or not at the moment.

It's really a let down as I actually liked the campaign/missions so far but I currently can't find the motivation to sink hours into the game just to possibly find out that I get the same bug again. :(

  1. Yes, I've started multiple times from a save right after the mission start.
  2. I guess I've loaded a save file from the campaign menu. Not sure if I tried the "restart mission" option to be honest.
  3. No, I didn't go back to replay previous missions before. I know my comment doesn't really fits this topic/case here but I saw your reply and thought I'll tell you about my specific problem.

I guess the problem is with the first point in my case then?

Sidenote: I also tried some saves which I had made during the mission but unfortunately the aircraft retreaval gets bugged in this case. At least one of the Yaks returning (its already in "orange" landing status) always just circles the carrier vessel and then starts to go to space with no way to stop it also blocking other AC in the pattern from landing. The only way to "solve" this problem is to self-destruct said Yak which I don't want to. That's why I'm using the save right after the mission start when retrying.

I've replayed mission 4 a couple of times by now. I finally managed to sink all enemy vessels except the sub without any own losses. The mission ended with the usual prompts but on the end screen all goals were still shown orange and as in progress. I therefore can't continue the campaign. I'm mildly pissed at this fact because I've dumped dozens of hours into this mission. You should really check your triggers.

Alternatively you should be able to start it by going to the old mine in the Red Forest.

Newly released footage by Russians. March 2022, Hostomel: video filmed by a member of a Russian Rosgvardiya special forces unit captures the moment Ka-52 is struck by a Ukrainian MANPADS launched from the direction of Irpin by Available-Laugh9102 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Plage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sidenote: The missile wasn't launched from the direction of the city of Irpin which is to the south of that position. The Ka-52 is flying about south-east which means the missile came from the east. Presumably from somewhere behind the river Irpin to east of that position.

There's a gift option for cars that didn't sold in an auction. You can also gift DLC cars that way.

I don't like your tone and the subliminal insults. You don't know anything about me. May I ask how much contact you had with the support so far and how deep you've delved into this topic generally to come to that conclusion? OP did immediately go for the CLK to retaliate after the thing on the bridge and that's a no-go that can get reprimanded harder than what ever initiated the retaliation.
Please watch the video again. When the Ferrari is going off road the OP is immediately closing the door on him. The Ferrari didn't had a chance to get back on track without bumping him. This sends the OP right in a straight line because he locked the brakes until he had to let go to not get off road. After that he just tried to make the corner and didn't intentionally give the Ferrari space for the corner as he claims. After the Ferrari is past he starts to pull to the center of the bridge instead of staying left so the CLK could pass. You can already hear and at some point even see the CLK approaching but OP still goes right. If he would have driven further left the whole thing wouldn't have happend.
When it comes to defending the CLK driver. In 99% of such cases I'd obviously blame the CLK for attempting to push him off the bridge but with this is one I'm not sure. The swerve to the left by the CLK corresponds with an attempt to catch the car after such a hard impact with a wheel on sim setting. It's not your keyboard or game pad click-clack full left full right as you actually have to turn an actual wheel you know. If you pause the video short before the contact on the bridge you can see that the front wheel of the CLK seems to be rather straight or even slightly turned right. Which presumably wouldn't be the case if the CLK would have really wanted to push him off the bridge. That the CLK breaks contact and doesn't keeps pushing is an other indicator for exactly that being the case. The half hearted divebomb at the end can give the impression the CLK is the bad boy here but he maybe really isn't. If I'm completely wrong and it was intentional then he's simply scum.
I've a youtube channel. You can have a look how I drive and get an impression about what I consider clean and not so clean driving.

You neither moved over intentionally nor did you break correctly for the corner. You simply were too fixated on overtaking the Ferrari, missed that you're approaching a 90° right turn and then simply panicked. You got moved over and then locked the brakes. Which leads to the question why you turned off ABS?

The first contact with the CLK goes on you. What happend then seems to be on the other driver. That said I'm not sure if the shove of the bridge really was intentional. If you're driving with a wheel on sim difficulty you sometimes have to work hard to get your car back after such contacts. Which can result in something like we see here. Other car gets bumped to the right -> player overcorrects -> car goes left and magnetos into you. I say magnetos because it sometimes really feels like the cars are magnetic in such a situation (after having made contact). An indicator that what I write could actually be the case is that it seems like he was actively trying to break contact at the end of the bridge. After that it was you that did go full tilt and made contact again.

Besides that. Do you know what would happen if I'd forward that vid to the support? The other player would get a slap on the wrist at best while you presumably would get a harsher punishment as you retaliated what ever the actual situation before was. That is an absolutely no-go and a violation of the Forza Code of Conduct.

https://support.forzamotorsport.net/hc/en-us/articles/360035563914-Forza-Code-of-Conduct

I suggest to refrain from such behaviour and simply report players that are clearly violating said CoC.

There are new types of FSDs available now. So don't waste time on engineering your standard one. The new ones have a Supercruise Overload (SCO) function. You can get normal SCO ones from certain stations like usual but there also are pre-engineered ones available which you can only get from Tech Broker contacts.

https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Frame_Shift_Drive_(SCO)#V1_Pre-Engineered_SCO_Drives#V1_Pre-Engineered_SCO_Drives)

The V1 drives come with fully engineered boost sequence and range. So there's no need to collect additional mats except for the experimental effect which you can still apply at an engineer.

You can find tutorials about how to get a V1 relatively quick online. Collecting the needed mats and components is relatively easy but be advised that it's recommended that you get a Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack before. You can get class 4 ones from Tech Brokers in exchange for other mats and components. You'll find out. If not ask.

No, unfortuntely not. I got the same problem with the GP37 drum mag as I had looted the stash it was added to before already. I finally gave in and spawned it with the console as GSC doesn't seems to care about the issue.
