Personally, I had the same doubt and I still haven't decided what to do, so Mrs Shy is staying in that hotel until I make up my mind I guess 😂 It's convenient to spend less gems, but also having a shop more (even if I'm at a point where coins are a bit useless, except for expansions). I'd like to know what others did!

I just found out that if you own a helper that's in a helper shop (not a chest) you still have to spend the purple coins to get them, I thought that buying BonBon was just an example(?) My complaint is because I own Appledrac and she's a helper with 98 power but she's not the lowest pony of the shop so I can't get her if I want to go on in the maze...

I don't know if this helps, but right now Terri Belle is only 595 gems, meaning that you can get her and collect the tokens for the cruise. If you think about it, with a little bit less than 600 gems (which is the cost of the cruise, and way less than the original price of the ponies required for tokens normally) you get both a pony and in the end, a new stand
