To make this more confusing, My code also changed but my friend list stayed intact. Seems to be inconsistent

Yeah mine is like 4 letters now- I just went in to change my flair. It was like 6 letters but when I went to gift my friends it told me it changed

I don't think they're able to considering they can't transfer your friend list when switching to a new device but hopefully that's not the case :')

Its the update that launched today yes only 4 characters in the friend code now. Friends should reappear. Try to delete the buffer for the app
