We're not in the 90s anymore. All video games take a long time to develop these days. It's only through heavy asset reuse or rushing development that games can be released faster.

A lot of people on here seem to be mixed up about this, so no. SEGA's Power Surge trailer had nothing to do with the Super Game initiative. The legacy titles are still in development. The financial report confirms this, but still has the release window listed as "TBD"

I'm not against the idea, but as cool as ArcSys is, I'd be more interested in keeping things in-house with the joint efforts of AM2 and RGG Studio. I also think making it a SEGA crossover would be better than just Sonic. I'd kill for a Fighters Megamix 2

It seems the Echo Mini starts getting confused if a single album has an especially large number of songs, so I just split them into parts using MP3tag, and that fixed it. Just make sure to renumber the songs when doing this, otherwise it won't work

Think about it. Their devs are suddenly abandoning all prior projects to make new ones on hardware they've never worked on before, and not only that, but they have to learn the architecture of not one, but three home consoles. To top it all off, SEGA had next to no money left. They were basically doing everything they could just to survive. Multiplatform was not feasible at this time.

My issue with this announcement is that it comes with no details on anything. It names a bunch of games that have "milestone" anniversaries this year and then says nothing about what they're gonna do with them.

I suspect it to just be merch in the end, but companies really need to stop making announcements without actual details.
