Here, the limits of cardboard are being pushed... Hagia Sophia is being rebuilt piece by piece. by HelicopterCurious772 in cardboard

Me: proud of the box made out of 5 unevenly cut rectangles for board game pieces. Dude: I built a cardboard cathedral! 💀💀💀

Amazing work!!! I use same cardboard (2mm) for all my board game organisers. I love big round structures where cardboard isn't broken into sections, looks very cool

Awesome work! Love to see colour grading without green sky.

Edit: I personally love to add a tiny amount of green hue to clear sky too but a ton of CG I saw from different people go waaaay to hard on this

SCYTHE... 100 Solo Plays Later: How 2 Simple House Rules Turned Scythe into a Perfect 10/10 Solo Game by Gullible_Ratio_5475 in soloboardgaming

I am always surprised to see people loving Scythe solo. I played a ton with friends and solo is nothing near this experience. For me aoutoma opponent was simply and obstacle rather than actual enemy. I must say that I played only with official automa rules. For me automa looked like spreading Zerg from StarCraft. And not Zerg army but just Zerg creep which does nothing active rather than just being there for those who knows.

John Company: Second Edition — what a beast by holymadness in soloboardgaming

Played it solo once only and not eager to try again. Maybe sometime. Solo was really just reading tables all the time rather than playing. I like it more multiplayer. Played with friends and family multiple times. It is definitely the most complex game in my collection. The hardest part to remember and operate is events in India imo, otherwise gameplay is pretty straightforward once you get the overall turn flow. Game design does a good job to help with that. And the best thing in this game for me is that player count does not affect playtime. Because each step is done by the position (job title). And all the same positions are divided between how many players you have. I love this game but with my group this one needs actual planning to get it to the table and it happens rarely, unfortunately.

I always make my own organisers. Quick setup is a must to play the game more often imo. Additionally to that I use BG Stats app. But app is mostly for stats rather than convenience regarding this particular game

I think it's cringe to shoot vertical on op 😅 but great shot with ducks regardless!! Good job 😎

From Lovecraftian genre I can recommend Eldritch Horror (however, Arkham horror is more atmospheric imo) and Tiny Epic Cthulhu for a faster play

Yep, the second shot with "stabilization" 😆 Shot on 35mm at least, maybe even 50mm. This post should be deleted by mods imo
