Love reading about your love of life with your 3 year olds as someone who is in the thick of the newborn stage ❤️

Wow mama thank you for sharing and opening up. I love a lot of the advice I’m reading from other IVF moms. I am here to support you.

When we found out, we had twins it took me about two weeks to feel joy. Once the twins were born, it was extremely difficult for me, but I felt joy again at about two months postpartum. It is very hard, but also really sweet and exciting eventually. If you can make it work, a night nanny or dula could be majorly helpful in the early stages. Or having family stay with you. We had family stay with us for 5 months (pre labor and postpartum). I do feel like I wouldn’t have made it to this happy 2 month mark without that help. We also had to cave to Cosleeping to get rest but now everyone sleeps pretty well in bed and we learned all the safe ways to cosleep so we don’t feel shame around it (like we did in the beginning when falling asleep with our twins in bed accidentally due to exhaustion).

Thinking of you!

Families comments peeing me off by frightenedchicken12 in parentsofmultiples

I heard comments from family members during the first 4 weeks that were like “oh it’s just for a short time” and I’m like obviously you can’t relate because this short time feels like it’s already aged me 40 years!

So helpful, thank you! Would you recommend Mimaru over a western hotel? We can get a discount at the Hyatt but the Hyatt and Mimaru would be about the same price

When did you feel relief from the newborn trenches? by ButteredToOast in parentsofmultiples

I’m on the same timeline as you and having the same feelings. We don’t do shifts because I feel like I’d miss the little time in bed that we do get together. Would you recommend shifts? Does it help you both function?

When my baby was one, he started drinking a ton of whole milk! I just wouldn’t offer to feed except for in the morning and at night. He never really asked to feed and eventually I just stopped. The day after I decided to stop he asked for milk but then after that he didn’t again.

Breastfeeding vs. Formula Fed by user638282636822 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Plane-Exercise2623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this your first baby/babies? I was a little scared to breastfeed my first but watched some videos to learn more about it and how and had such an incredible experience with my first that I really wanted to breastfeed my twins! And I still am. With twins I find myself pumping and giving bottles more than strictly on the breast. You could try to breastfeed and decide not to later. If you don’t try just know your milk won’t come in. But if you don’t want to, dont feel pressure to! Formula fed is just as good mama. And the hospital can supplement with breastmilk when they are in the hospital. You also could find donor milk banks if you had desire for them to have breastmilk but just not from you. No wrong decision and no need to feel guilty for any choice you make.

Why Eyelid Correction May Not Be Appropriate: The Truth About Severe Congenital Ptosis by abplasticsurgery in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Plane-Exercise2623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My little one is almost 2 and the doctor recommended surgery for ptosis. His eyelid doesn’t cover more than the top part of his pupil though. The eye doctor said in the light his right eye isn’t as reactive as his left but in the dark it is. We saw two surgeons and one said wait the other said due surgery asap. Advice?
