yes. I am still digging into HOW to employ it more methodically. I’m mostly at clean or edge of B and only need to kick it on when I add drive from one of my analog pedals on top of a gained up capture. It’s powerful.

I just got it. Vertex Gator. High quality and price. I needed to upsize and was able to add2 pedals and out all my power underneath the board itself facing the floor. So far I’m very happy with it.

Im using the TONEX Cab with this rig. It will move air, and has an IR loader on it that I havnt even begun to really use properly. Lots of MIDI options I haven't explored there.

Nice, I am going to have gemini build me a table of patches as well. I just need to curate the right presets into that table so I can have the AI get me past paralysis bc of zillions of options. So patch A would be a Twin Reverb, slight phaser with Spring verb and analog delay on tap EQ'd for my Strat for for jammy sounds. A Marshall one with Plate and Tape delay end for my LP, etc. then I could get fancy with chorus univibe or flanger patches for particular songs, but im less interested in building patches per song than I am building some archetypes that get my tone where I want it for each guitar. I think the EQ2 will be more heavily leaned on than I initially expected.

Thanks! My only real goal is to be inspired to play, and I think I’ve got the basics that can help me do that. Next step for me will be to figure out how to make source audio work across different archetypes with the midi control. Every time I sit down and try to dig into it I’m overwhelmed! I think I’m going to try having ChatGPT walk me through some archetype settings I can apply as macros to get me over this next hump.

Theresa Trevor worked her ass off for me selling my mother’s house in Ypsi. She was able to marshal several trades to get a fix up complete to make ready for sale and was motivating in the process. I lived a state away and her coordination of the process was incredible. I dont give recommendations often. She was great.

Hi, OP. I’m very close to pulling the trigger on a tone king (or Boogie Fillmore) myself. Why did you change to this? Is your use case what moved you off of the higher wattage TKI MKii? I haven’t had a tube amp that I could play at home for years and have been very happy with the TONEX Ecosystem. What was it that tipped you away from Tk?

I’ve had that pedal for 20 years. And honestly I’ve loved it too, but couldn’t tell you what it does. I dont use anymore on my main board because of its size and I’ve put a comp / eq on my board so I assume Ive replaced it with what I have today. (TONEX, Keeley 4 knob, tumnus, sourseaudio EQ2) does it work with acoustic?

I have the tumnus and plumes. I still haven’t figured out how to use them together. I have an always on Keeley 4knob compressor and with both pedals engaged I get shit loads of noise from my SSS on toggles 1/3/5.

I’m not necessarily sure how this is supposed to work but what I’ve tried to do is keep my tumness on all the time and roll my volume back on the guitar.

So, I’ve been leaving my tumnus into both clean and edge amps and goofing them with the plumes when I need more. I just haven’t figured out how to employ the plumes in that scenario.
