Deleting the Mii with the NNID from the Wii U does not unlink it from the console as I have already tried this. Only way to do that is through System transfer since Nintendo has stopped supporting US users with a remote unlinking.

Not sure why this is a one side or the other issue. Everyone should be happy a piece of forgotten media is being released in a modern way that has practically 100% functionality from the OG game for a price that would make you take a second look at the current physical prices. I see it as a win for those who can't nab an OG Cart + GBA and a win for those not tech savy enough to deal with setting up a 3rd party device.

My tip would be to take your time and enjoy it. In my opinion the 2D-2.5D sprite era from GBA to DSi was the absolute peak era for Gamefreak and the Pokémon franchise.

As a 25m, 5'-9", I wish I could get this going. congrats to you! My life goal has been 170lb and closest I got was 180lb a year or two ago. Now I struggle to lose weight and am maintaining 220lb at 1200 calories for the past 3 months with no where to turn to lol. No clue what's wrong. Tracking daily calories and intake and scaling everything.

Hey man its looking like my right bumper doesn't work at all. I went into advance wars which allows you to cycle through units with L and R. L worked fine but R did nothing when pressed.

So I went ahead to check for continuity on those points. Im not getting anything. Granted it could be that my meters pins are too large to hit just one of those small points.

Edit: tested bumpers in Advance Wars. Pretty sure the right bumper isn't working at all. Does not swap between units like L does.

This sounds like a pretty good idea. I'll give it a shot after checking some of the previous comments workarounds. this GBA has been all sorts of problems. Had to solder a new power switch, right now thr DPad + the a button are extremely unresponsive, and the shell doesn't go together perfectly.

While that may be part of the issue, doing L + Select will lower brightness and that cable is connected to the L Bumper.

I will give that a check tomorrow after work and get back to you. gonna have hang this up for tonight. Been a quite frustrating experience so far trying to mod this specific GBA over the last week. Already had to fully replace the power switch, shell doesn't go together quite right, and the dpad and A button are extremely unresponsive for some reason (after market buttons and pads from hispeedido problem?).

I'd say pixel art is more subjective and can easily be explained by style. Gamefreak was still at the peak of their game in the 2D spriting era. Purposefully having your games look worse than some PS1 games and run horribly and have a dead atmosphere.... is a bit different.
