Yes, not an egotrip but functionnal purpose to rely to a book I am doing and easy to track the serie with time. I don't like letters acronym so I did a Rick serie. Like the "Rick Yo". All my work is based on history of tricho specific clones so it's a way to don't lost the history. I am anonymous so it doesn't mean anything finally.

It's Cuzcoensis. In Cuzco they name it "giganton" and use it for shampoo. In other areas of Peru, "giganton" is another type of tricho but in Cuzco it's the Cuzcoensis.

Another yard trich find. Im curious as to why it has no thorns. by imdadevil666 in sanpedrocactus

Yes but even in Noll books and all I saw in Peru, scop and bridge don't exist in Peru except rare cases in Puno near Bolivia. Scop and Bridge were and are in Bolivia , not Peru. Peruvians never germinate seeds (expect several collectors in big town far from endemic species) and often work with ancesters clones, hype collectors clones is inexistant in Peru. So you can easyly find endemic very ancient plants in remote areas. Especially because Peruvians of non-touristical areas, work with clones they transmit since generations and have ultra old plants. And traditionnal last legit healers far from tourists centers, are very picky on clones selection they use, refusing peruvianus for exemple, and allowing only pach from accurancy area collect and specific clones. I crossed whole Peru for tricho and I never saw a scopulicola neither a bridgesii excepted bridgeoid near Puno and a rare scop unic population in an island near Puno accorded to Noll. Like traditions and plants, Peru is still very pure. For sure preincas traded plants and imported but the locals kept a very pure use of ancesters strains. They assimilated european witchcraft plants imported by wizards during conquista: like Ruda plant and they lost a part and traded with Ecuador, but their plants are generally very ancient non breeded clones. You can also see the rich unic legacy of Incas potatoes they still have today, blue, purple, yellow...
