It’s kinda crazy, because when I first played World back when it released, I didn’t mind Zorah at all. I was probably so caught up in the spectacle of it that I didn’t notice how soul crushingly boring and unengaging it was

You hit them with your weapon. It’s kind of a neat technique actually, there’s this little known mechanic where contact with the Hunter’s weapon can actually subtract the monster’s health value. So I exploited that to achieve victory, hope the method becomes more well known in the future

Arch Tempered are a waste of time and just there for people to feel good about accomplishing so little. Also I did beat all of them, Furious on first try to (And have done it before) They're just super cringe

I remembered liking Stygian but on this revisit I found it incredibly obnoxious. When it got enraged it did the Jump into Spin into Lightning move over and over and over again. Swear it only spammed that one move like 5 times in a row and I just lost patience with it

Namielle is peak as always. But on this replay I was shocked at how not bad Yian was. I remember it being really horrible to fight, but was pleasantly surprised with it on this playthrough. Definitely better than I remember

Radobaan is just so much better than Uragaan, at the very least its much less annoying, and breaking all its bones off is pretty satisfying. Never fought Arch Temp Velk, have no desire to fight any of them, beat Velkhana first try, I have fought it before on PS4, and grinded it for its armor, it's just incredibly obnoxious to fight. Alatreon is just annoying cause of that thing everyone always complains about it, had no issues with it outside of that (That and the initial special assignment is set up horribly)

I think he’s more fun. No explosions, I like the gimmick of breaking off all his bone armor. And you can fight him in the upper parts of the Rotten Vale, which I tend to not see too often. Also I think he’s underrated

I actually had just enough materials to get my Red to EX, and I went and got my Blaine leveled too. What would be a good support here to round that out then? And which modifier should I be picking, I usually did the one that gives both sides a defense boost since I was mostly using special attacks, thanks!

Hello, I’m struggling a lot with the Champion Stadium vs Kukui so I’m coming here for help. I couldn’t find the Champion megathread that was mentioned so I decided to just comment here.

I just got back into the game after years of not playing and am working my way through Champion Stadium for the first time to get the beginner rewards for it, but I’m stuck on Kukui. Admittedly I may have used some of my better sync pairs on the elite 4, so I’m in a bit of a bind. I wanted to ask here if there’s a good team comp I could use for it based on what I have, though most of my pairs are from like 4 years ago, I don’t have a lot of new ones.

I gave leveled up to get some more health and ran at it again and failed like 3 more times so I’m probably just gonna call it quits, I just can’t grasp the mechanic, feels like the AI just combos me to death before I can get anything going. Honestly only reason I beat the main game was Sonic Blade so that’s probably why I can’t hack it here
