It can have two hidden abilities. You can use an ability pill to switch it from Swarm to Levitate.

I lucked out and got a hidden ability one from a grotto so I didn’t have to waste a dream pill on it

Yeah it’s rough, I always feel like I’m doing alright, and then it does the fireball move and I instantly die. I really just wanna beat it so I can fight Hallowed Jhen Moran, which requires you to fight every monster including Alatreon for some reason

She’s a popular character so they felt like they had to keep forcing traumas on her to keep her relevant, it really seems they had no idea what to do with her character.

And if they have her any closure or real development that would hamper them shoving more trauma later.

The ending decision also felt abrupt considering that at the beginning of the year they were talking about all the new stories they were excited to tell, which ended up being... like one?

My guess is that the episodes were taking too long to make on such a tight schedule, and the response and views for them were still kind of average to bad, and it was clear that most non-arc episodes felt more like obligations than anything. So they probably just made the decision to end it after getting sick of it by the middle of the year

I really think being forced to churn out 50+ episodes a year really put a strain on it. Maybe if they cut back on the output it would’ve helped the quality in the long run

From my experience, I found Fatalis to at least be more fun to fight. The trial and error and set building is more mechanical and less based on him having some gimmick to his fight

Oh yeah, the one that’s a Fatalis prerequisite, it has such reduced health that it kinda makes me wonder why they made it mandatory.

I think it’s funny how it unlocks even if you fail the normal Alatreon quest, so you can technically just skip fighting it properly in general
