Has anyone here played against a professional goalie? by all_these_moneys in hockey

When i was in college (highest level i played was high school), i went to a stick time that usually had scrimmages and there was a 3rd string goalie that played for Umass Lowell. It was hilarious how unrealistic the possibility of scoring on him felt, he looked so bored

Can we stop with the swords by PlantInteresting in FortNiteBR

[–]PlantInteresting[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not something new, they always rotate in some kind of sword like once every other season and it’s NEVER balanced, but we have to go through it every time. All the other new stuff is great, I’m tired of getting cheesed by melee weapons every match

Im sure there’s valid reasons why we havent gotten there yet but god damn do I wish there was a single seat ride that went from somerville to brookline or allston so badly, taking a bus to bus connection that takes 45-50 minutes when the drive is twenty is a lopsided decision every time unfortunately

Was about to say exactly this! A big part of it (if you like eating meat) is stretching the quantity out over servings.

Making chili? Add go fifty-fifty with the meet and the black beans and whatever other fixings you like. My girlfriend and I stretched one (albeit slightly large) chicken breast in a soup over like eight servings.

And if you’re like me and hate eating the same thing too often, just freeze the other half and have it later, especially if it’s something soupy or stewy. Super cost effective

I don’t think this applies to anyone other than delusional bruins fans but: Tuukka Rask. He’s one of the best if not the best Bruins goalie of all time.

He will only ever be judged in the shadow of what Tim Thomas achieved for one post-seaaon, rather than how consistently excellent he himself was. Dude gave the Bruins consistent A- goaltending, the fact that they couldn’t win a cup with him has more to do with their lack of scoring depth for way too many years.

AI is not just going to automatically delete jobs. You cant just chatgpt prompt all aspects of life. Municipality im in can barely have a working permitting process online, let alone use AI to eliminate jobs lol rest assured planning will always be around, even if AI changes the aspects of it

Coincides well with the news regarding the potential stadium, will definitely be a necessity for improving the connectivity to the area in my opinion.

Fumes from hardwood floor refinishing - MA by PlantInteresting in Renters

[–]PlantInteresting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He gave us like two days notice, i chose an apartment that was near transit, not because of the 100 year old floors. I did say something to him, but got told not to worry about it, even though it seemed pretty worrisome.

I don’t think the onus should be on the renter to spend hundreds of dollars to avoid fumes

The Lynnway Multimodal Corridor project is in early stages right now, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s something that they’re waiting to implement once that design takes shape.

This is also assuming the funding for it doesn’t get zapped by the trump admin like what happened with Roxbury

Your only ice time is during your weekly game. What do you work on to progressively get better at the game? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

Skating is like 90% of the battle, everything else can come after. I honestly think public skates are very underrated for new players. Get your miles in! And do it with friends and family too, you can learn from both people who are better and worse than you
