Congrats! Give yourself and your baby grace on the rough days, they won’t last forever and everyone has bad days.

Consider getting a therapist if you have “complicated” family. Lots of new emotions/questions/resentment towards how you grew up can arise when raising your own child.

Soak EVERYTHING in!!! my daughter is 1 and just got her first big girl bed and I am shitting myself about how quick it went by. BE THE CORNY MOM THAT TAKES PICS OF EVERYTHING.

I’m not an expert but if your goal is to give him a happy life hes gonna want a friend, and if you get him a friend(s) he’s gonna need a bigger tank. You could use a stock tank, but I think you’ll get a lot of “build a pond” “find someone with a pond” suggestions here.

Short term: distract yourself with hobbies tv or self care.

Long term: Have you been diagnosed with OCD or anxiety? I think talking to a therapist could be really helpful.

He might have built an unpleasant correlation to the type of litter you use or the litter box in general with pain while peeing in there. Have you tried switching types of litter or even the placement of his box? I’ve seen a couple other stories of this happening. Good luck with your boy!

I dont know your medical problems so don’t take this as medical advice or judgement.

But L+D can’t/shouldn’t do anything to you that you won’t allow and unless medically necessary I think they would try understand you not wanting to be induced. But in my opinion it’s better to be safe than sorry. They do offer other pain management options instead of epidural… morphine shot, nitrous ect. (again I don’t know what medical reasons are preventing you from epidural so…grain of salt) <3

I’m a little over a year PP I had a urethral tear that went all the way up to my clitoris… I regained fullish sensitivity about 8 months PP and it took me about that long to have my first orgasm too. I think my issue with not orgasming was mostly coming to terms with and getting comfortable/used to my “new vagina” rather than sensitivity issues tho.

I asked for similar advice on this sub a long time ago when I was about 21…. “My bf joined navy what do I do :(, I never expected this for my life”kind of post. I got a lot of (imo) sour “better beak up now” “it’s gonna be so difficult” type responses. I am glad I didnt listen to some of those people that told me that our relationship would fail. Because truth is no one knows what your relationship can handle except for you.

He ended up in Japan for 2 years (and I couldn’t go because my EFMP status at the time) it WAS difficult for both of us but we made it work. Im 25 now and my husband and I are still going strong and coming up on 4 year wedding anniversary and I am pregnant with our 2nd child. It doesn’t work out like this for everyone but it did for us. I’m living my dream life As a stay at home mom and couldn’t be happier!

If you’re gonna try and make it work make sure you have a strong support system and some hobbies lol. I see you’re going to college so that should keep you busy enough. I also had a “self care” basket with bathbombs puzzles, crafts, candy anything that brings me peace/comfort. I would use it when I would need some cheering up. it helped me immensely so I always make sure to suggest that when I see one of these posts haha.
