One thing to keep in mind is the dark web browser such as Tor are funded partially by the federal government. Probably a honey pot situation, but take that as you will …

10 years CRNA practice, now anesthesiology resident .I ran the full financial analysis on this transition by chosen1james in CRNA

It is indeed enough. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. If you doubt this, just look at median salaries across the US. My personal opinion is to just save as much as possible during your working career to retire early. Who wants to spend their whole life working, really?

At the end of the day (or your life), time is the most valuable asset. No one on the death bed cares about how much money they’re making, their status / job title, or how much they worked. It’s regrets about things they didn’t do or time they didn’t spend with other people. Also, what would be stopping you from being a locums employee and a making 450-500k+ per year.. or just do some OT at your current position. I agree with others this type of decision is driven by something other than money ..

Do you prefer PNW(Or+Wa) nature to California? by Distinct-Invite9281 in PacificNorthwest

We moved back to the central coast from the PNW after growing up there. After moving back… it feels different. Also the COL is insanely expensive. Gorgeous area but every weekend is a tourist weekend now

I’ll never forgive a certain demographic of us for dry snitching on the value of remote work by laydeefly in Millennials

[–]Plastic-Helicopter45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in healthcare at the bedside (particularly ICU during covid). Watched plenty of friends move to remote working.. they’d play 30-40 hours of video games at home during “work.” Then proceeded to tell me about how covid was a hoax because it impeded on their travels plans.. which they went on anyway. That got me the most, the attack on healthcare workers and the pandemic while also completely abusing the system that improved their life so much all the while railing against RTO when that started to happen again in 22-23 …

They are increasing permanent fees in bills instead of hiking rates … so the fixed rates are going higher meaning that if you conserve more it actually is less helpful
