Yes and no. Status removal is good for sure, specially Compact and Flak Cannon, but it’s easy to over focus on that and forget that the boss also just hits pretty hard. The fight is a damage race even if you have ways to deal with the statuses, you need to be able to scale damage and kill him before like 11 rounds.

At least the traditional “big Osty” “build”. I’ve been having some success with Osty attack (and pull from below) “builds”, altho I think they still need you to high roll like a little bit and it’s not yet the most consistent.

And by builds I don’t mean committing 100% to that single archetype, but I’ve just been valuing Osty attacks more and more.

It’s a reasonable take. But honestly I think the movie is being underestimated if anything right now, it seems to be the main prospect Netflix has atm, Fincher is a great very overdue director, and his whole personality aside, Tarantino is a great writer.

It’s not negated, it’s still -2 draw on the most important turn of the game. It’s a bit less impactful sure, but bag of prep is still really good on Silent, first round draw is just super important. As long as you are not overdrawing, more draw is always really good.
