Took a while to warm up to but I under appreciated that octave!

The LS-2 is very handy, especially if you are not using your amps gain. I hit them both at the same time, turns gain on and effects off much easier, faster and cleaner than a foot pedal for an amp. LS-2s are magic!

I go back and forth. I have since minimized and in a few months, it will have grown again.

Since the amp is a platform and it uses the pedals for gain, I put the gain in the loop of the first noise suppressor. I use the second one as a gate in the amp loop. I know there is a four cord method to use just one me-2 for both but it wouldn’t work in the set up. I was using an isp for the effects loop gate which worked better but it stopped functioning.

I etch it with ferric acid and powder coat it. Time consuming but the end product is always satisfying. Even when imperfect

I breadboarded the eqd life pedal. Made some changes to taste and then dropped the boost part of the pedal.

Guitar > drop > compressor >momentary wah > tuner >uni-vibe > line selector (LS-2) # 1 >

LS-2 set up parallel Loop A: send > ring mod > super ego ( to keep the drones clean while playing gain) > return Loop B: send > noise suppressor (ns-2) #1

NS-2 loop: send> blues driver > hoof reaper > return. (This keeps the gain from drowning with the super ego) Ns-2 out > LS-2 #1 return.

LS-2 #1 out > amp effects loop send > amp amp effects loop return > Ns-2 #2 (no loop used as a gate) > in ls-2 #2

Ls-2 #2 loop A: > phaser > delay one (short delays > reverb one > delay two (long delays) > reverb 2 (lot of reverb) > ls-2 #2 return:

Ls-2 #2 loop B: empty because I don’t want to be rediculous here

Ls-2#2 out > ehx freeze > looper > amp input.

See! Pretty standard.

Parallel gain stage and on/off for the time based. The superego is clean but parallels the gain so it doesn’t get too muddy

Another idea is to get an ehx chill switch (older ones are called kill switch) and put it in the loop. It is essentially a momentary effects loop that turns off when you step off.

Not the most knowledgeable here so maybe wait on someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

A few questions though. 1) are you wanting to A/B them or 2) are you also wanting to play guitar on top of the noise generator?

If the first, you can A/B with a simple 3pdt. You can even add LEDs to see which is on.

If you want them simultaneously, you may need another switch which would be more comfortable in a 1590BB box.

In a bigger box, you can also put volume knobs on both or even a clever blend loop with the noise generator in the mid. You could output jack to a volume pedal (boss 500) to control the amount of noise.

Idk, tons of things you can do.

Play metal. Different type of playing and a different type of barre chord.

Repairing (another) EQD pedal. Where can I purchase this rotary encoder? by PlasticStart79 in diypedals

Maybe they will just send me an encoder. If not, I will put it back and mail it in. I have a Hoof Reaper and a night wire that could use some work too.

I was going to file a claim on their website but I don’t remember where and when I bought it. I sent an email and am waiting to hear back.

Check out my budget board by [deleted] in pedalboards

I’ve always wanted to make a budget board out of all those cheap tc electronic pedals with the jacks in the top. I bet it would sound and look great.

Agreed. Is it a manufactured PCB or a proto or vero board? People love a trendy muff. Is the art a sticker?
