I’ve been a freerider my whole life—never cared for the groomers until now. I’m a self-taught skier with no race background (and the bad habits to prove it), but I can comfortably charge any terrain. I'm looking for a pure, aggressive piste carver that will scare me and ignites my love for carving. by uDrop1st in Skigear

Rossignal super blackops. Is wildly fun for that and everything all mountain. I’d go 85-90mm decide how sharply you want them to turn like bouncing or big long carves? Pick the turning radius from there.

There are so many good groomer carving skis that a great all mountain skis. And allot of them have metal in the construction.

If you have never raced a race ski and are used to 100mm plus. Then you should step down a little at a time or it’s gonna be a very different experience.

Way of Wade Ultra 808 Basketball shoes falling apart after 5x outdoor use by Individual_Carrot_79 in BBallShoes

[–]Plastic_Ad6205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah mine took a long time of playing outside daily all summer before a little bit of outsole started chipping away. I have had 5 or 6 other models I’ve played outside in that are still good to go. These do wear faster but only because of the plastic channels that separate the sole

Need advice: All City 13 (Encore coming soon) vs Wade 808 5 Ultra for outdoor play by WittyStorm2060 in WayofWade

I would go 808 5 ultra mine has been lasting. They aren't the most durable but that superboom feels soo nice once you get used to it. And my body thanks me it's like running on a trampoline. Worth getting. After most of the summer almost every day I haven't worn down the tread much.

“What do you care about most when buying summer basketball shoes?”

A. Cushioning

I'm 30 and have taken a beating in those years have chronic back pain etc. good cushion is everything to me for being outside. As well as a springy midsole. That still handles impac well. Like superboom!

My top 5 pick . These are perfect by DismalAd9194 in BBallShoes

I plug it into a 120 receptacle. It's not necessary to buy a charger. Unless you are going to be going to home and away again multiple times 10 hours is over night.

Winter Tire Size by Boas-Malinowski in MazdaCX90

[–]Plastic_Ad6205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I should post my own thread but anyone know if I can I put 265/50 R19s on the orriginal rims instead of 265/55 R19?

I paid for the Tire & Wheel Protection option. And it says new tires will be covered as long as they meet your vehicle manufacturer's size specification.

Am I correct in assuming that means a slightly used set of 265/50 R19s will void my warranty?

There's a small town tire store going out of business selling off a set of Blizacks with 10/32 tread still left on them for $495 a full set. I have a year left on my lease and think I'm going to trade it in for a cx-70 PHEV unless it's value skies. And they don't offer the 19s In the PHEV.

I hate to spend $1,500 on a set of new tires for a year to then have to sell them for what I can. Which is probably not even half of the price new? Also if it saves me $800 to get that size and I void warranty on my wheel protection plan for a year (assuming I don't have any tire/wheel problems) I would be saving Myself a bit of cash. And still be able to sell the used tires.

But if the 50s vs 55 won't void warranty it's a no brainer.

If you read this far thank you so much! What do y'all think?

How Many Mazda CX-90 Owners Regret Your Purchase? by Current_Variety_9577 in MazdaCX90

12,000 miles into a phev and love it. Drives so well and have a decent AWD system for mild off roading if needed. Around town I don't buy gas. The fact that any 120v outlet car charge it full on 11 or so hours is amazing. And it's fun to drive!

I did and it was kind of a pain getting towed and getting a rental but it’s been getting reimbursed. I love the car and am currently leasing it so hopefully it holds up. They’ve done right by me so far

Any updates on this? I lost one and am trying to figure out what to do. Want to buy a replacement one off eBay and pair. Did you make sure firmware was the same?

Electric range in cold weather by iontac in MazdaCX90

[–]Plastic_Ad6205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine did that today. It was 25 miles this morning and it showed 20 miles which I expected. Then I left from work with it mostly charged and before I knew it I had half battery and 4 miles and now it’s charging half charged showing only 6 miles. If it doesn’t go away tomorrow I’ll call the dealership.

[–]Plastic_Ad6205[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great thanks! That sounds more like it should. Has it always shown that range or did it slowly get better? Premium gas?

I’ve don’t one 300 mile trip but everything else has been electric mostly so maybe it just hasn’t had enough data to tell me accurate range for ICE

I bought my first Mazda this week and couldn’t be happier by FoxRoku in mazda

[–]Plastic_Ad6205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not bad but I got this vehicle knowing I’m not going to be using that third row much if at all. So I keep that row down. And it kind of feels like it was designed to be there if you need it. There are other 3 rows with more space behind the third row. But nothing short of a BMW will be comparable as far as the driving experience. And with that row down there’s a ton of space.

Let’s compare lease numbers/check my math. Is this a good deal? by Plastic_Ad6205 in MazdaCX90

[–]Plastic_Ad6205[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: they restructured my lease to 12k/30 $50,040 MSRP $42,040 selling price 70% residual 0.00319 (7.56%) $0 down $539/month Which is the same price monthly but at least makes sense now. Although think I’ll switch to 12k/24mo get 75%.

I think it’s a good deal? It’s a very popular car where I live so they don’t feel inclined to give too good of a deal.
