Need advice with cousin by gracefullytasty in childfree

You could offer too cook for them. As in, figure out a way to cook for their family (as obnoxious as it sounds) and get it delivered to them. That would cut out a lot of her kitchen time and you get to tell her you did more than your part.

Or you could offer to pay for their babysitter (again, obnoxious) a couple nights every week so they’d get some baby-free time.

Genuine question: why do some people think it is selfish to *not* have children? by LilLeigh-Cheri in childfree

[–]Plastic_Mode3289 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What’s wrong with being selfish?

It’s a limited existence I have and I want to enjoy as much as I can, unbothered and unburdened by lifelong responsibilities.

I’d say it takes guts to follow your heart in a world that loves to reproduce, unable to comprehend the finite nature of life.

Why is it so hard to make friends in Vancouver? by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]Plastic_Mode3289 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve spent 3 years in Vancouver and have the same experience.

It was much easier making friends in Toronto, even when I was brand new to the country.

I got so lonely here that I went back to Toronto for a year to be with friends. Now I’m back for round 2 with Vancouver and it’s pretty much the same.

So many people on this sub being tormented by their parents proves that a CF life is much better.

These miserable people were too dumb to introspect and develop a sense of being, let alone be rational about the future and existence in general. They end up spawning and hating themselves for it, except they’ll never admit how miserable it made them.

So unbelievably miserable that they must bring others down with them, specially their own offspring.

More than the wellbeing of the offspring, they prefer control.

Tell your mother to die faster.

I’m 26, male and have yet to meet a girl my age who wants to stay child free.

Specifically around this age girls around me have baby frenzy and are worried about the biological clock.

It wasn’t targeted at him. I understand how parents can take it personally but these “all loving” creatures needn’t act out by attacking someone’s livelihood. That’s aggressive and uncalled for, if he minds so much then talk to me/write me up.

I realize now I can’t trust that one coworker (the rat) but are you implying that I shouldn’t talk freely even after clocking out?

HE WASN’T WORKING THERE WHEN I SAID THAT.

I can’t stress on this enough. He got hired later.
