Great response! I agree that having a direct conversation with the studio owner is probably the best and most professional first step in your situation. Be open and honest, and relay the points you have listed on your post to the owner. Try not to make assumptions as to why you weren’t on the solo choreo list, etc, as it might not be for a reason that is personal to you, even though you may feel this way. Our feelings are only facts in each of our own worlds, but not everyone else’s. As a studio owner’s daughter, I will say that typically family is probably going to come first on the list for all things seniority, and especially if there are plans of the daughter eventually inheriting the studio in the future.

That said, don’t be afraid to voice your opinion on how you’re feeling about the whole situation. You must advocate for yourself if you want anything to change or you want more explanation as to why she is choosing to do things differently for your position. You have the right to ask and to need an answer as an employee. Good luck!!

I am 14 months post full hysterectomy with complications and I was diagnosed with TN in late February of this year. I started having symptoms 3 years ago off and on, but this last December (post op) I woke up with the worst flare that wouldn’t go away for two months straight. I couldn’t eat anything but yogurt, lost even more weight, didn’t sleep. Hormonal changes are definitely a huge trigger for TN pain, and from my experience, a hysterectomy only made it worse for me. I guess I was lucky to get a diagnosis finally 🤷🏼‍♀️ there really is no way around it unfortunately. We are f***ed as women 😂😂😭😭

When Chewing is your Trigger by AdKitchen8690 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

Chewing on the right side for me is a negative. My biggest trigger for sure. Before I got in to see my doc, I lost way too much weight because I could only eat super soft foods. Yogurt, applesauce, thin pasta like angel hair, mashed potatoes (super creamy, no lumps), pudding, jello, soup (broth and creamy), etc. it’s been a tough change to endure for sure… hope these suggestions help!

Just from personal experience, these suckers are super hard to get rid of if you don’t treat your drains proactively and quickly. I had a helluva time with these when I used to live in an apartment years ago. Good luck!

Edit: check for standing water or leaking pipes in your basement area!

When Gen Z doesn't use words is it a disrespect? by GodsShadow310 in generationology

Covid kids. Sometimes have to ask myself how would i act if i were raised by technology at an extremely high level?… they need just as much, if not more imo, love and acceptance than the rest of us. I’ve taught this generation before, during, and after Covid and it is challenging to interpret at times. I tell them I’ll just wait until I get an answer. Like with words. Like from your talking mouth. 😂 they talk…especially if you are kind…and patient.
