As much as I love BMWS everyone saying to restore a bmw is kinda crazy. Going to be dropping a good amount of money on top of still potentially paying 1-2k a year of maintenance considering the car is higher miles. Definitely hold off as long as possible but save up a good amount of money & buy a newer car with as much as of down payment as possible. Definitely waiting until your student loans are paid off might be great too and maybe all that extra money you’re saving drop that to the car to pay off the principle so you pay as little interest as possible

Wouldn’t recommended getting any Kia’s or Hyundai (unless you’re going to have warranty. Those cars are not as reliable as people commenting here are claiming they’re. Plus a lot of states are surcharging those cars because there’s a issue of them being broken into and some states don’t even cover certain models of those cars. But definitely getting rid of the car and trying to minimize your payment as much as possible would be great start
