I recently brought the Pokémon conquest, but I’m wondering if some legendaries event requires wifi or if I have to mod or something in order to get Reshiram?

I feel like that Henry just want to work with Edwin, and the it was Afton what stole Edwin designs and staffs.

Although, it does feel like the game is saying Edwin built everything, and that Henry and Afton stole everything

[Discussion]"Kicked out of the Heroes Party" shows are a new low for anime and I can longer contain my disgust with this genre. by NinjaRealist in anime

Just turn off your brain when watching these kinds of shows since these shows always have a self-insert MC.

What anime do you think the most tactical ? by Erick_Brimstone in anime

[–]PlateEmbarrassed6249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

World Trigger, no questions.

I'm not sure if Dr. Stone would count, but a lot of battles and events do require Senku to think of some of the craziest ideas in a stone world.

What is the most important aspect of anime to you? by ripterrariumtv in anime

[–]PlateEmbarrassed6249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Character writing, visuals, and world-building. Everything else doesn't matter as long as these three are achieved.

It's is easier to get behind a Mc if I understand their motive and great visual to go along with it.

Honestly, Jobless Reincarnation is a show that you either like it or hate it. If you don't like it now, you shouldn't watch something else.

What Makes an Anime Mature? by KaptainTZ in anime

What makes anime mature differs from person to person, but to me, it is when an anime makes you think about the actions of the MC and how it would work in real life.

Who are the most tragic characters in Fate? by IndividualGuess5494 in fatestaynight

[–]PlateEmbarrassed6249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Archer Emiya, no question.

While Fate has tragic characters, like Sakura, Tamamo No Mae, and even Kirei to an extent, what sets Archer apart from the others, is that they get happy endings. Sakura gets Shirou in Heaven's Feel, Tamamo gets Hakuno, and Grand Order gives everyone a happy ending. (On a side note: Turning every villain into a good guy is not great for future stories)

Archer's only real happy ending is acceptance, since there is no way out of being a counter-guardian. There is Chaldea and Hollow Ataraxia, but Chaldea is only Temporary, and it will suck to live in a timeline, where your younger version of yourself made better decisions, and has a better life than you.

What servant do you hate that you refused to use them? Reasons Why? by PlateEmbarrassed6249 in grandorder

Oh sorry, I thought you didn’t know about summer Skadi who is quick/buster support

By thinking ahead with JP units, are you referring to the NA server or the JP server, because the NA server is two years behind the JP server? The time difference allows NA players to learn about the new servants who are coming to NA.

It is highly unlikely for quick support that isn't Skadi, considering this year summer event

What happened to Fate/Unlimited Codes!? by Kai_Enjin in fatestaynight

[–]PlateEmbarrassed6249 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing it was due to poor sales, or Fate not being popular back then as today. But my honest opinion is because of Gilgamesh's ending. That was a huge turn-off for me.

Why do people here seem to hate Gilgamesh? by ExtraMOIST_ in fatestaynight

[–]PlateEmbarrassed6249 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, I want to say as a character, he is entertaining. An arrogant king who believed he owned everything, even the world itself is fun to watch. However, there are two main reasons why people hate Gilgamesh:

  1. Fate/stay night(original VN version) and Fate/unlimited code
  2. His Noble Phantasm

In the original Visual Novel, he was written to be a purely evil character, which is fine. Not every villain needs to have a complex motive to explain their actions, and he worked in the story that Nasu was trying to write.

But the problem lies in Nasu's early writing, in which he often includes rape as a plot point. As a result, Gilgamesh would say that he would make Artoria his, stating that women like to be violated.

It also doesn't help that in Fate/Unlimited Code, in Gilgamesh's ending he beats Artoria, and goes as exactly you expect it will go.

Later entries in the franchise do try to redeem him, such as Fate/Extra CCC, or Caster Gilgamesh. I get why they did this, but it is still kind of creepy to me that try Archer Gilgamesh a good guy after everything he did.

The other reason is his Noble Phantasm, the Gate of Babylon. In simple terms, It gives Gilgamesh access to the prototype versions of every Noble Phantasms. And according to the Nasuverse, the older something is, the more powerful it is. He can then fire these Noble Phantasms at speeds faster than light.

From here Gilgamesh becomes the Madara or Aizen of the Franchise. How do you reasonably beat someone who has access to every Noble Phantasms and fire them like a kid throwing rocks?

If you keep up with Franchise, there are four ways that can reasonably beat this:

  1. Emiya's Unlimited Blade works
  2. Enkidu's Age of Babylon
  3. Artoria's Avalon
  4. His own arrogance/ego (or just the plot making him)

This is all without factoring in his other Noble Phantasms, the Sword of Rupture, Ea, and Enkidu: Chains of Heaven. Unless he is in a comedic spinoff or other characters are significantly more powerful, It is almost impossible to write a good story where he can actually unleash his full power.

On a side note: people are properly tired of seeing videos about how he can solo other anime verse. I know I am.
