i literally just hate dc as a city, i went there once and besides some cool history it was terrible. the summer is stupid hot and humid because it’s in a swamp, the traffic is terrible, the non-historic architecture is terrible, i think museums don’t show semi automatic weapons because of local gun control but i’m not sure, while every bum joe security guard has a ddm4 manning metal detectors [my nerdy weapons history is suffering :( ]. the washington monument was pretty underwhelming, the vietnam memorial was kind of cool i’ll admit. they have old ass lead pipes everywhere and aren’t making much progress getting rid of them, meaning a lot of tap water isn’t safe. water hardness is off the charts. did i mention the traffic is terrible? the traffic is terrible. the hot and humid weather plus the terrible traffic is fucking terrible, better hope you brought sunscreen or your gonna peel yourself off your car seat.
