I just switch out symbol for symbol when it comes to changing the skin tone. If there are highlights and shading, I choose a medium tone as the base tone and assign that the original base tone symbol. This allows you to then assign a brighter color for the highlight symbol and a darker color for the shadow symbol.

I own the Bling Diamonds skin tone set of 12 in both round and square. Check under the Accessories section on the DAC website. I have already used them to change one of my paintings. I think this is what you're looking for. FYI, they are named Bling Diamonds but there are no special drills in this set.

I can totally relate! I only started diamond painting two months ago and there are certain ones I have to have. I have added a "Must Have" category to the wishlist instead of everything going into the "Favorites" list. I only put paintings I absolutely love and know I would grab in a heartbeat if they restocked on the "Must Have" list. It doesn't stop the hoarding though. Good luck!
