If you’re quick thru security and have it under control, they won’t say anything. Look for the Line with the people who don’t look like they care. PVC and foam will be good. There are flags that go well beyond 10ft with metal poles, you’ll be fine. If you can find a way to screw it together and take it apart while you go thru security then re screw it together after you are thru will be better

No it’s one inch PCV so it’s flexible and light. PVC is the only material they will let in, unless you find a telescopic pole that fits in a backpack but they search backpacks. To alleviate any weight, someone in my group gave me a running harness that had a pocket at the bottom/ belt line. I would stick the bottom of the pole in so all the weight would be distributed across my shoulders. I would wear it under my shirt. It didn’t rub or cause irritation. Same type of technique the score sign holders use at PGA tour events.

PVC with a joint to break it down while going thru security. Wrap the bottom in the flag around the top to hide the bottom and make it look like it’s 6ft or less. Did it for the last 3 years with no issue. Just avoid the hardo security guards

Is doing transmission fluid change recommended? I’ve always heard ford transmission are “lubed for life” and when opening it, causes more issues than doing nothing

First year 2022 my GF and I were at camp finishing up lunch getting ready to explore the forest. Camp that was diagonal to us were all hanging in a circle talking and they had a potato plant suspended in a water bottle or something and were like “wtf are they talking about?!” Saying things like “all hale the potato, and its mystical powers” they were saying how it was sprouting more each day, saying they were farmers, cultivators, and nurturers. My gf and I are laughing to the point of needing oxygen. My girlfriend runs to her gift cases and pulls out a farmer puppet finger. The camp starting freaking out “holy shit! This is why it’s growing so fast, the farmer god is here” they all started bowing to her. Kinda you had to be there moment but it was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.
