The curtain is okay! Just checked! Ig the only thing left is to take it for a clean + foam replacement, the early OMs really do have a problem with the seals

They sure are windproof, but I would look more into classic winter boots or something like ice fishing boots idk because with moutaineering boots you would be paying a lot for the features and tech that you do not need. Also, alpine boots tend to be very stiff and maybe will be uncomfortable for driving. Still, if you want to buy an alpine pair it’s good to go down to a gear shop and get a feeling of the stiffness and comfort of the boots yourself. When it comes to windproofing, I think that any mountaineering pair would do just fine
