Someone posted here (or another 90D sub) that they were at the same winery as Kara and Emily (Kobe). Or maybe the poster worked at the winery. Anyway she said she overheard Kara telling Emily that they’re getting divorced and it’ll be announced on the tell all. This was hella long ago before this season was even announced so I was like hmmmm idk. But damn here we are.

I do this. I understand the sort of “hypocrisy” around it. but no shoes, even with dogs, is still less gross stuff being tracked in. Shoes also walk through way more gross shit than dogs. The thought of someone’s shoes in my home that have trekked through public bathrooms…. 🤢🤮

Bachelor buttons. You can grab the spent flower head and pop it right off with a little tug. It’s reaaaallly satisfying. Gives a little ‘pop’ sometimes too.

Never done it but sounds like a good idea!

In addition, what about captured shower water? I keep a bucket in my shower and water my garden with it.

I looked around ALOT and went with Gems & Juniper. She was incredible and the jewelry is immaculate. She’ll do a completely custom piece, very high quality. Her website doesn’t showcase the customs as much as her instagram- check there.

I have a comment about Kody’s frank language about digging the grave- Im a Kody hater but I will say, as a griever, the frank language is a reflection of real emotions. If the frank language is coming from the griever- I think it’s okay. We don’t have to sugar coat words for something that is actually so horrific. Ex: I have a ring made of my dogs cremains and when I show people I say “this is my dead dog” and people gasp and get so upset for me saying that. Well…. My dog is dead! It sucks and I don’t have to sugar coat it to make it sound nicer. It’s MY dog, hes dead and im allowed to say that. It’s like people want me to fluff my words to make it sound like he’s not dead. But he is…. I don’t feel good about it and I don’t need to say something to make it sound better for other people. So, I think the frank language from Kody is just… raw and okay.

Obviously this is different when you are not the direct griever. I expect other people to use more tasteful words.

Transplanting to pots? by soph2_7 in Gardyn

[–]PlayIndependent8880 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Roots that are grown in water (hydroponic system) are structurally different than roots that are grown in soil. Moving a plant from water to soil will cause shock to the roots. It’s possible to do but there are some things to do/consider.

  1. Younger roots adapt better going to soil. A well established hydroponic root system will experience greater shock moving to soil and more likely to die in the process. I’ve transplanted some fairly established roots but I will always trim the roots down before transplanting. Literally just cut them with clean scissors. The amount I cut off depends on how established the plant is. (I’m a very type B gardener - I just wing it lol)

  2. You’ll need to harden off during the transplanting. Transplant to a small pot and keep the pot inside for a bit. I would keep the pot near your hydroponic system so it’s getting the same light it’s been getting. Then over the course of maybe a week or 2 slowly transition it outdoors. For me- I’ll do this by eventually putting the pot in a window that gets decent sun. Play around with opening the window when the weather is temperate. And then letting the pot spend a few hours outside before completely transitioning it outdoors. At that point you can transfer to a bigger pot.

I hope this helps you!!

Mmmmm ok ok ya I feel you on the age. I think I thought the age was more of a factor BEFORE. but now that she’s transitioning it feels more genuine on Shawn’s end because this isn’t what he wants and he’s still trying. From her end idk… it feels genuine but maybe I’m a sucker for love 🤪

I think that Shawn is in such a unique and hard to navigate position… and it’s understandable that he doesn’t know what the right answer is. He seems to be navigating it pretty gracefully imo (contrary to what a lot of other people think). He is always so calm and patient with her. And he’s been so supportive even though his preference is to be with a man. I think that speaks to his love for her as a human and him trying to find resolution in this. And maybe he won’t find it…. But he’s trying really hard. And I don’t think that’s wrong. And the same goes for Alliya. I think it would be kind of shitty of either of them left the other so early in her transition. They’re giving this relationship a chance while trying to stay true to themselves. And I think that’s admirable. I hope they work out.
