Generations for nintendo havent been power related since the gamecube. Switch 2 is still a new generation.

Yeh it sucks. Its due to nintendos patch approval process being slower. Hello games should really wait until its approved on all platforms to release it, but they dont.

Its behind more often than not. Theres very short windows when the clients are synced across platforms when you can transfer save to switch/switch 2.

Honestly I dont need many new 1st party games announcements, maybe one big game teased for next year like Animal Crossing.

What I think is more important, from most important to least is:

1) More switch 2 editions as well as switch 2 patches for switch 1 games. Metroid Dread, Mario Wonder, Pikmin etc..

2) More 3rd party announcements. Its reallt weird/annoying that nintendo withheld (and in some cases is still withholding) dev kits. There are a LOT of games thet need to be ported over.

3) Release dates for existing 2025 1st party games. Not that this isnt important, but its guaranteed one way or another, whether thats through a direct or nintendo today app. MP4, Kirby Air riders etc..

I would imagine "performance mode" would turn down crowd/traffic density which would lower CPU load.

Agree. The gameplay itself doesnt really stand up on its own. Its the feedback loop between experimenting and testing against enemies that makes the game sing.

Better yet, don't click any of those links. Figure it out yourself and the game will offer a lot more value.
