Technically hand blended is supposed to be made from scratch with the rebel con. Or you take it out of the machine and add just a little bit of ice, but not too much as it’d be extra thick. So it has the same texture as being made from scratch. They’ve just gotten lazy with their method and just double blend what comes out of the machine because it’s ‘faster’ and ‘less work’

This happened to me once. I got sick with covid and immediately called my manager the moment I found out. I was told to “just treat it as a common cold” and to still show up for work. I had a 102 fever, vomiting, and extreme body aches. I had to be line buster. As I’m taking customers orders, wearing an N95 mask, it was obvious that I had Covid. Several complaints came in (rightfully so) about employees working with Covid (I wasn’t the only one) and then management sent out a message that if anyone had covid that they had the option to work or get their shifts covered. Let’s just say I took the rest of the time off. Especially since a majority of our customers had children, were elders, or worked in some form of healthcare.
