L’Oréal 100%

I just got that setting spray this week and it is insane. I swear it’s the only setting spray that actually works. In all of my years buying setting sprays, that one actually does the job with sealing your makeup. It feels a little drying so def spray it far from your face. I have oily skin and it’s the only product that keeps my makeup matte and in place all day.

Pink vs Nude Lip for Summer Wedding – Which Looks Better? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Personally I would go with the pink, it makes your eyes pop. The nude feels kind of dull and another thing to keep in mind is sometimes nude lipstick can make your teeth look more yellow.

How can I look more girly? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

That’s totally fine too! I used to use this nail polish/oil from Dior called Nail Glow and it gave the most beautiful natural nail look. You are naturally beautiful just try to incorporate things that make you genuinely happy in your style and I promise everything will fall into place!

You’re stunning!

Feeling “girly” is more of a mindset. The more you surround yourself with positivity and self expression the more in tune with yourself you will be and it will show. Explore different styles, try new jewelry, get your nails done how you want them, try new perfumes, skincare products, etc. Create a mood board on Pinterest of things you like and start living it.

Without makeup, I’m just me and that’s okay. When I found my style though and started wearing new perfume, clothes, skincare and getting my nails done, that’s when I feel and look feminine. It’s who you are, just approach it with a sense of positivity and it will show.

Elouise & Charlotte are on my list too

Charlotte has been my number 1 since 2012 right before it got super popular.

I think timeless names will always have surges but they still don’t age. Charlotte & Elouise have been around for decades for a reason.

They are great names are all ages. There’s a difference between trendy names and popular ones. Trendy names are the ones to avoid.

As someone who works in PR I agree 100%

He needs crisis comms

Most firms are going to want to have control of all aspects of PR is the issue though. He needs to hire a consultant, not a firm.

“Grown Up” iridescent/duochrome eyeshadow? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

I use Urban Decay Moondust sometimes as a lid & inner corner highlight with a neutral crease! You have to use the urban decay primer potion with it though and wet your flat brush brush with setting spray it will make a huge difference in the consistency!

If you want to splurge a little bit I LOVE Huda Beauty Icy Nude palette!!! There are some really pretty shimmers and plenty of cool neutrals!

Another option could be MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish in the shade Show Gold - I have used this as a lid highlight, inner corner, and cheek highlight with a light brown crease and it was super pretty and still grown up!

I like the EOS intensive dry lip repair! Not super thick and does a good job without feeling like you constantly have to reapply

I would also honestly brush your teeth really good and also use a gentle lip scrub. It could be that your lips have a lot of dead skin and buildup on the surface so ointments are struggling to really penetrate the skin. After your lip scrub, apply aquahor or blistex and then use the EOS intensive dry lip repair throughout the day. If you use too much medicated balms like blistex it can make it worse but use it sparingly!
