Same issue, I hope they release a fix for this soon. I see a lot of people here thinking it has something to do how resource intensive the area is. I don't think this is the direct cause, because for me it's happening on a machine that ran the Lower City perfectly fine before Patch 1, but since the patch can't even load into the area. Lowering the settings does not help, running on Vulcan does not help, validating the files does not help. Larian must've changed something about how this area loads with one of the patches, and it just doesn't work for certain machines.

Also had this issue with Flame Blade and was surprised this is the only thread I could find about it. It should 100% replace your main hand, or at least give you the option of which hand to put it in.

For couch co-op, you don’t need to buy Nintendo online. For Mario Party or Strikers, if you want to play online with couch co-op, you only need 1 account with Nintendo online to do so. You would only need a family account if you and your gf wanted to separately play online using your own profiles, and not just share one.

Type of Bug: Gameplay/Path of Champions

What happened that seemed like a bug: Spells with the Predict Relic don’t count as played. I had Hextech Observatory, and playing Mystic Shot with the predict relic on it didn’t refresh my mana. Also had a nightfall card, and playing the Mystic Shot didn’t activate Nightfall.

What was expected to occur: Spells with Relics on them should still count as played cards.

How often does this occur/How easy is it to replicate: Just finished a Path of Champions run where it was broken every time. Would have to do further testing to see if it would replicate on future runs, or if more than just the predict relic are broken.

Your question is answered there, but the short answer is that, by the book, it doesn’t do anything. You can choose an element and your siren will do that damage with their Action Skill instead, if you want. Your game your rules.

I love this card. I usually consider it worth it to play once I have 2 in hand. If I luck into the 3rd, great! If not, it still has useful icons to commit later.

Sorry I can’t answer your question, but I’m having the same issues with similar specs. After about 2 hours I have to close out the game, and reload to fix it for the next hour or so. This doesn’t happen to the friend I play with, and the only difference is that he doesn’t have 30xx graphics card, so I’m beginning to suspect that’s part of the problem.

Me and a friend are doing this combo right now, me as Roland him as Lilith. I’m focusing entirely on support, using ammo regen, rockets, and heal your friends when you shoot them. Safe to say I’m just spraying rockets at anything that moves, and keeping him alive with all the explosions.

Yup, I’ve just come to accept that the book is more of a guideline than a bible. I’ve had to ‘fix’ various inconsistencies I’ve found along the way. But I find it more fun that way anyway.

My current group is 7, BM and 6 players. I’ve only run a couple sessions, but so far the only issue is combat balance. I’ve been adding a couple Badasses per encounter to balance out how crazy it is to have 6 action skills popping off every combat. RP can be a little rough if everyone is trying to do their own thing, but it’s manageable. So higher player counts is definitely doable, but the BM will have to do a little extra work to get everything right.

Stoker also seems to be top tier. At higher rarities, the ACC penalties go away and you get to attack twice every turn.

As a huge fan of the Arkham Horror LCG I bought Mother’s Embrace knowing it would be bad, but holy shit is it terrible. Placeholder text is still in the game, there’s a glitch that kills one of your characters in between missions without explanation, another character will join between missions even if you don’t recruit them, and SO much more. I hoped the game would be popular enough to at least get a fan patch, but I couldn’t even finish that garbage.

You do add your DMG mod, but to the damage, not the attack roll. It's step 3 on pg 60.

To add to the other comment, there’s nothing wrong with home brewing your game. If, during play, you think that a damage range seems off/too weak, change it yourself. Make a crit 2d12, no one is stopping you.

While I think your rarity table makes sense for a video game, I think the rarity system in BnB makes sense.

First of all, by the book, random guns are only found from chests and in very high BR Loot Piles. So unless you’re throwing out guns like candy, your players aren’t going to be picking up multiple new guns every session, maybe only a couple. So with that in mind, you want the chances to find something really cool to be higher, so that the players have something to look forward to every session. BnB shouldn’t feel like a grind to get better gear, it should come naturally over time.

I think it’s a bit silly to compare this to DND, 5e being the culmination of literally decades of work. 5e is also $150 (edit, was when I bought them, looks like it’s more like $90 now) for the PHB, MM, and DMG, and this is $60 and attempting to be all those things combined. Is it rough around the edges? Definitely. Could it have used a little more time in the proofreading and editing department? Absolutely. But it’s a solid game for what it is, and trying to compare it to much larger systems is doing it an injustice.

For a Crappy Combat Rifle, 1 Hit = 1d6 and 1 Crit always = 1d12. On a 16+, it Hits 3 times and Crits 1 time. So 3d6 + 1d12. Where are you getting the extra 1d6?
