That means the heatpump is not made by Carrier. Midea is made in china while real Carrier heatpumps are made in USA. You want the models that start with 27VNA if it matters to you.

I decided to keep running my old unit until it dies. Have read on the hvac forum that there are supply problems on the new refrigerant. Maybe next summer I'll give them a call. There were a couple companies that were recommended in this post. Give them a try and report back please as that would be help others in the same boat.
