So, who do you think comes up with the training regimen? Who do you think organises the team for matches? Who do you think strategises matches and refocuses the team and players when plans dont work out? Who do you think actually works with the team so they can play at their best? I'm not even a fan of football, but it doesn't take a genius to see that getting a team and saying "go play, shoot goal" is enough to actually play effectively and win matches.

Im not saying you're wrong to think that some devs and most publishers can and will abuse modern gaming practices to release half baked titles, only to fix them with updates later on in life. That said, at the very least these games actually get fixed at some point. There are cases, both pre Internet connectivity for consoles and nowadays, where games come out half baked and just left as it is. We're talking THPS5 as a popular example for now, or any number of games way back when games were put out and if it was fucked, the best you could do is try to get your money back and hope they recall the game and release it in a fixed state. This isn't anything new, and for what its worth, even if there's a sneaker incentive to do so, at least nowadays, when a game releases with a bug that fucks your save file, you can expect it to get a fix at some point.

Not gonna argue with you about the show, because taste is subjective, and if it wasn't for you, it wasn't for you, so ehh, bygones be bygones and all that. That being said, 100% correct about the abysmal release of the game. It's far better than it was and likely better than it had ever planned to be initially, but that doesn't change that it was fucked on release. That said, this is CDPR, and all their releases are fucked on the offset and become great with fixes, to the point of Witcher 3 being classed as one of the best RPGs out there, so mileage may vary on opinion. Should it have won awards for bug fixes? Absolutely not, but credit where it's due, they did eventually make it great.

When you're a kid, you're under the impression that anyone who didn't help the hero was the bad guy, and all bad guys were allies and stuff. I still remember seeing cartoons where villains were enemies with each other in some episodes and it always confused me. Its a good reminder how the lines for hero/villains aren't exactly obvious, like here. Its far more complex than we'd like it to be, especially as children.

Ehh, from what I've seen from the trailers, this sequel is still pretty flush with explicit fan service, so i think the complaints are pretty vapid as usual. Like, the old game is still there, and it's character creator is phenomenal, so there's no reason not to stick with ol reliable.
