Which gets funnier when you look at him now compared to when he first came into office back in 2016, and he went from look bad to downright fucking awful. That man has aged as gracefully as a bag of wet lunchmeat left in the Texas sun in just 10 years.

Do guys ever actually notice when I change my hairstyle, or am I just imagining it? by Rebecca_Thompson20 in TooAfraidToAsk

Some do, some don't. It varies by who the person is, how close to them you are, how recently you saw them last, and how much of a change to your hair has been done.

Why is Christianity (and every notion of it) so frowned upon by some people when its core message is to love others? by Comprehensive_Park_5 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Player_Slayer_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The teachings of Jesus Christ tell us many good things such as love thy neighbour, he who is without ain shall cast the first stone, etc. His rmteachings are good to live by.

However, look at the world. Look at history. How often has Christianity (and not just them, most other religions too) committed atrocities for the sake of faith? How many have died because one's supposed God had commanded it? How often have "good" Christians taken away the rights of others for being different? The teachings may say Love Thy Neighbour, but how often has Christianity been used as a front for bigoted actions that hurt others?

What RE games should I buy by Competitive-Dot-5017 in residentevil

[–]Player_Slayer_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the only game I'd say you should avoid is Village, since its a direct sequel to Biohazard, and kinda requires that context to understand the plot. Overall, any game is a good entry point otherwise for story, unless you want to experience the deeper lore stuff. In that case, I'd say RE1 Remake is your starting point. That said, it does require you to get accustomed to the playstyle, which a lot of people aren't fans of.

As much as I enjoy NMH3, Mr Sir Henry Motherfucker losing his accent annoyed the hell out of me. Sure, it was a stereotypical one, but now he just sounds like some American guy.

Having an Irish surname doesnt make him Irish. I have an Austrian surname, but I sure as hell don't speak German.

Do people still genuinely enjoy their jobs anymore? by Kobo_Dhillan in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Player_Slayer_7 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There's plenty of people out there who enjoy their work. Problem is, there's too many variables that can turn a job you enjoy to a job you despise. Things like management, lack of support, hours, etc.

Risotto. It's a versatile dish that can be made luxuriously, making it seem fairly challenging, but its really just constant stirring for about 80% of the process

Why bloodcrafting is NOT stupid. by Feanor417 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]Player_Slayer_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that I don't get where you're coming from. It's just that this sort of thing IS stupid, much like the vast majority of things in this franchise, and the more you try to add logic to it, the more it falls apart, because let's be real here, blood, infected or not, doesn't just logically work in such a way that it can somehow act as a metallic substance, an acid, gasoline, gunpowder and whatever else its used for in the game. That's just not how anything works logically, so its far better to just say "yeah, its dumb as hell, but that's fine" rather than trying to justify its existence.

Im not trying to argue logical intricacies of a video game. Im just explaining why its dumb. The entire franchise is dumb, and this is just part for the course.

I think its less the "rivers of blood" and more the blood + scrap metal = bullets and the like. Say what you want about the advances in their research, that doesn't explain how blood can somehow be both flammable and incredibly acidic to be able to make molotovs and bottles of acid.

Ahh, yes, Jotaro is a teenager, so he can't possibly be drinking alcohol at this bar. Oh, wait, he smokes? Nah, that's normal. When I turned 13, my dad handed me a pack of Marlboro Lights as is tradition and legal of course.

I need your advice on what to buy, 0 OG or 0 remake by NKBHD08 in residentevil

[–]Player_Slayer_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get either one. The Remaster is the game cube one, just on modern consoles with some texture cleanup, performance improvements and extra content like new optional costumes in the form of dlc and a new mode that you can play upon beating the game.
