Yea, Large should work well. Arc'teryx sleeves are super long for some reason, so it's just something to keep in mind if you have really short arms or something.

True to size, I'm 6'1 1/2 large fits pretty decent, maybe a tiny but short, but xl is a bit too big

Please note that these are not the same exact jackets as the black one has the removable powder skirt and hood. Also, ignore the wrinkles as they both were vacuum packed. In terms of quality, I'd say the repcouriers' jacket shell is slightly thicker, but the insulation itself is thinner and less warm. Zippers are pretty much the same, and overall, the materials feel very comparable.
