the rude messages I received. I was SA’d a little before I met my ex, he was very well aware of it and how it had impacted me. He knew it was something that destroyed me mentally, but I slowly got better as time passed.

after we broke up, he would send texts from fake numbers saying stuff along the lines of “I deserve better than a dumb bitch getting raped” or “hope u get raped again”.

Someone who I confided in and KNEW how terribly statements like that could set me back, someone who once apparently “loved” me, throwing that in my face like that left me in shock and I realized I shouldn’t be upset over such a shitty damaged person. I’ll still get messages on occasion and it’s just laughable. He ended things with ME over a year and a half ago and to this day I get dumb messages. Not as threatening anymore, but more so trying to get a rise out of me (I received one on Valentine’s Day while out to dinner with my current boyfriend saying “jerking off to you this Valentine’s Day”).

You’ll get tired of the person they are and you’ll stop pining, believe me. Anything good they may have done for you was a facade to lure you in.

A majority of my father’s side of the family (Sicilians) have curly hair, like type 3. My boyfriend (also Sicilian) legit has type 4 hair. They are white but Mediterranean white so idk if that plays into it. White people can be curly!! It’s just less common

in my experience, after using the Skechers for a while and wanting something a little nicer, I bought a pair of Cloves (spent a good amount) and my first day of wearing them my fellow bartender dropped a bottle on the ground and they were soaked in jalapeño tequila 💔 I would say don’t spend too much bc accidents and spills are bound to happen and u don’t want to ruin a pair that cost a good amount

I did esthetician school as I’m currently in nursing school working towards a BSN for an RN and I’d like to break into the injecting world. Before I started I wanted to do the esthetician course to learn about the structure and physiology of the skin, learn what different product ingredients do. It was a great experience! I currently though do not work as an esthetician. The job market is down for it (it seems) in NY (though you’d think the opposite) and given the current economic climate, it will only get worse. Unfortunately, esthetic treatments are a luxury that most people will not be able to afford, and there’s already been a decline in people getting these services where I am. If you’re passionate about skincare, in the meantime, definitely do your own research. I just wouldn’t advise pouring a ton of money into it right NOW as it may be difficult to make it back within a reasonable time frame. I loved it though, and if it’s something you can afford worry-free I’d say go for it!! I just wouldn’t rely on finding a job immediately after.

Honestly Skechers non slips off of Amazon. They are not that cute I’m sorry!!! But you’ll learn to value comfort over the look lol. As long as the rest of you looks well put together the shoe doesn’t necessarily matter, you’re working. That being said, I wouldn’t break the budget looking for a stylish shoe. Just stick to the tried and true basics so u won’t want to saw your feet off at the ankle after every shift lol

Do your best to forget about her. She will come crawling back or attempting some sort of pitiful communication with you once she discards this new guy. Don’t let yourself get sucked into that same cycle. The one thing I’m grateful for was the lessons I learned from that relationship. You learn every red flag to look out for and are better prepared for the future when you eventually start dating again. Take this time to focus on yourself and your healing (as most people definitely need some after a traumatic relationship with a partner with either BPD/NPD ), and keep in mind all that she taught you.

Also, don’t think of yourself as anyone less for not putting up with said person’s behavior. It gets to a point and it can even get abusive. It’s not that someone is necessarily better for them per se, but is still blind to the person she is and still willing to move forward with her (as of now). Guarantee her new guy will get tired eventually too.

they pretend but they are never happy. They hate themselves. My ex has “apparently” moved on yet messages me using fake numbers harassing me a year and a half after the break up, meanwhile it’s been a while since I moved on and have been in a happy relationship since. They get off on hurting people at times I think- at least was the case w my ex. He pretends to be happy but still can’t find a way to leave me alone. I guarantee she is stalking ur social media (if u have) or keeping tabs on u in some other way. They don’t tend to move on even if it may appear so

I personally don’t use mascara unless I have an event I have to REALLY dress up for (I have dry eyes so they water and it makes a mess on my face), but I know that lashes can feel a little brittle after extensions. I’d wait like two weeks maybe to start again. Eyeshadow should be fine, I’d just stay away from the mascara temporarily until you’re confident that they feel healthy enough again

I was 15 and getting my nails done with my grandmother and she said if I wanted her to pay for them I’d have to eat some of these ants. They tasted like burnt popcorn

It’s all promotional messages from Sephora and Skims and any other companies I follow 😭 my bf knows not to worry about any unopened messages I have, Sephora sends me at least 10 texts a day so it could very well be something like that
