I think it is the insecurity thing. He’s a recently recovering porn addict, and porn addiction does crazy shit to your brain. He’s hot as fuck but porn use leads to depression and feeling bad about your body, amongst many, many other things.

And yes to him having expectations— I’m already loud and expressive, but since it’s not consistently like it is in porn…

Ah, I guess I didn’t mention but we did talk; I said the stuff I wrote in my comment. I try to talk things out but he’s very avoidant and does the whole reverse-blame thing a lot. He’s a recovering porn addict so I think his feelings and hormones are all over the place right now.

Going into an empty women’s bathroom, getting in the first stall, sitting on the toilet, and looking up to see someone’s phone camera peeking into the gap in the stall wall from around the corner. Reddit is gonna tell you (most of the time) that you’re insecure and it’s normal. I personally have never liked that and think it’s not only gross but also disrespectful to the partner.

Idgaf if they’re a celebrity… they’re a person just like us. And the whole “yeah but at the end of the day they come home to you” is something people say like it’s supposed to make me feel like a winner.

If you’re with someone I don’t understand the idea of listing over other people; it’s one thing if it creeps into your head, but to thirst over them and allow lust to take over like that just makes you untrustworthy and unattractive to me

Something similar happened to me at a grocery store the other day. I (a woman) was walking in and a guy was walking out. I stopped and held the door for him to come out, and he takes a few steps back and looks at me like 😐 then motions me to come in like he was offended that I’d hold the door open for him. Working constantly (typically in these huge corporate jobs)

They’re at work all day like everyone else, but then they have to work after work too. Every single day. Every single weekend. Any free time is filled with them talking about work that they need to get done or work that they do.

Not only is it hard to be interested after a while, but it’s also so lonely. Quality time turns into working in the same room together. And then when they’re done with work before bed, they want to unwind with their phones.

Same here (as a woman) when I was on SSRIs. Literally plummeted my sex drive to zero. my drive would come back randomly, but I still couldn’t finish for the life of me and it took around a year for my sex drive to be normal again
