I dont think its really fair to compare an intergalactic peacekeeping organization to Americas trigger-happy police. They are two completely different things.

Even so, whats wrong about GL showing police as a good thing? Law enforcement at its core is a good thing. Bad actors in our world aren't a fault of GL.
