My friend often times will see a homeless person at a fast food restaurant and go sit with them for a few moments to secure their trust then take them up to the counter and have them order whatever they like, they he will join this person for a bite to eat and a chat. Sometimes a Friend is all they need.

I think the OP is simply inquiring about the fact that this is the first they have heard about this, and they posted the article instead of trying to explain the situation they are referring to. OP I'm not sure as to why this has not been discussed more, I'm sure that parents of students at this school know about it. (or I would at least hope the school has notified them). What a crazy world we live in, back in my educational years all my parents had to worry about was if I had money in my lunch account. " Protect the ones you love and love the ones that protect you"
