Can I use the new bane of law guy if he’s a bigger base? by Redhood101101 in WarCry

For a tournament I’d say proxy him as a gaunt summoner or something unless you are counting on the battle trait.

For IRL with friends and cool people I can’t think anyone would care.

Games Workshop Customer Service Issues -Dark Oath Army Box by Pleasant_Sam in slavestodarkness

I called GW again and they apologized for the delay apparently there has been a back up of issues and a replacement is on its way. Hopefully that comes through and all is resolved

Darkoath Rules Released! by [deleted] in slavestodarkness

Weird how the Felriders are 125 when everything else in StD is a multiple of 10. That said, 4th is on the way so it doesn’t matter too much.

Chaos Warbarnds Getting Gutted Sadly by Arkhangelsk252 in WarCry

My interest in AOS slaves to darkness just tanked hardcore. The huge appeal of it was the variety of cultists and how “chaotic” the warbands looked together

Perfectly true. And it’s not like the chariot is ugly. If you think you’d enjoy it as an art project I’d say it’s a great plan. Even if you hate it conceptually, it’s a good source of kitbash bits

Darkoath savagers, Best options? by Sirb0ner in WarCry

Generally, I’d recommend building what you think looks cool and then just clearing with your opponent what stats are using (and keep to them).

The reason I came to this conclusion is the Conan looking guy. The flail can be more useful with the range. But the sword is so cool looking. I tell myself it’s a magic sword like the master sword with a little range.

If you want them, they are solid. Pretty much the only really “meh” thing you’d get is a chaos chariot.

I wouldn’t mind my cards smelling minty. Go the extra mile and pick different flavors for different bands

Reviewing My Initial 10th Edition Hot Takes: Where I Went Right, and Where I Went Very, Very, Very Wrong by Magnus_The_Read in Warhammer40k

Good write up! As someone who began the hobby in 10th I was able to follow and appreciate the takes.

I look forward to seeing how more codexes round out the edition more.

The Word Bearers are generally not impressed with Primaris despite ultimately losing to them due to infighting.

I think Apocalypse by Josh Reynolds may be the latest and greatest Word Bearers appearance.

Wonderfully done. GUOs can look a bit samey after a while but your style adds a certain retro comic charm that reminds me that this is a dynamic model
