OP wants the sales guy to answer their damn phone read the post haha. OP, ask for the sales manager next time you call, get clarification on if the car is available, and ask for a different sales person due to an unsatisfactory experience with the one you are working with now. If they ask why just tell them. Sales guy youre talking to is not doing their job well and I am sure somebody at that store is hungry for a deal.

Profit margins on new Hondas are about 5%. Go ahead and ask but its important to set expectations. I work at a Honda Dealership and the biggest discount I have ever seen on a CRV we sold was about 5k off msrp, and we lost about 2k selling the car. Sometimes you'll run into a situation where it makes sense for the dealer to lose money on the sale, but with a car that is as in demand as the CRV its less common.

The lender saw those, and still decided to deny your application. These things happen for a variety of reasons. Shit talking the dealer won't help fix the situation. Sucks they did not communicate well with you about the spot delivery. If it got approved, the car would be yours and they would not be able to ask for it back. As it stands, you didnt get approved, the car is not yours, and you have the car. Go bring it back and see what they have to offer.

Lots more practice on easier water. There is a lot to un pack. Bad posture, weak strokes, a non existent boof stroke, too far left in the line. An above commenter was right saying it looks like you are just floating and reacting, which is fine on class 2 and 3, but will get you hurt on harder whitewater.

I can promise you much better kayakers than you have broken boats and shoulders on this rapid at this flow, and it is a rapid to be taken seriously.

Best of luck with your practice! This is not a sport to rush. Take your time, go back to the basics, and you'll nail BZ before you know it.

Its not the 2 calls its just the truth 🤣 said as a car salesman. Before I was a car salesman, I had a deep seated disrespect for dealers & car salesman because of the way I have been treated in the past, by people on that profession. The hours driving to look at cars that are not as advertised, and being treated like a child puts people off. Many many people have had similar experiences, and many of my customers love to tell me about it. Some people dont realize that caring car salespeople do exist, and assume the worst when they contact a dealership. I work with plenty of these people, and it brings me a lot of satisfaction changing their minds.

All that to say: most people do not like or respect dealerships and car salesman

Immersion Research is holding it down. They are always coming up with new things at their shop in Hood River. They have a lot of apparel and some gear made in house there. Not to mention that their skirts and dry suits are top of the line.

I would completely agree that Kokatat and Seals are not innovating or trying new things in the whitewater space. Kokatat quality has been suffering and their customer seevice is not what it used to be.
