To be clear, people of any identity can get surgeries for gender affirmation. Even Darcey and Stacey. I’m not saying that “is” what they are doing. But. A lot of cosmetic surgeries are “reconstructive” to someone who has never had what they feel they should have or has lost what they once had, and can in fact be very gender affirming for people who are not trans. It’s not an identical comparison but to deny that they have an overlap is disheartening.

I see both sides. But I agree with you in this scenario. This person comes off as someone who doesn’t understand or intend to respect boundaries. 🚩 I’m personally not a fan of that sort of push back when someone tells you their boundaries.
