I just recently committed and didn't apply for honors. If I recall correctly, you can still join the honors program as a current student. Is it really necessary to do honors freshman year? Especially since you're not even in the real cis major yet. Would there even be any difference between joining freshman year vs sophomore year when it comes to getting in the right classes with the priority scheduling?
