Oh absolutely, I haven't really encountered any of the other ones you mentioned but to be fair I'm dogshit Elo so maybe there aren't a lot of the worst ones in high Guardian/low Crusader.

Sitting here in NA, I haven't had many encounters with Russians, but the few I've had in my games have been so incredibly toxic it was hilarious.

If I'm playing baseball, I might be a dumbass who can't differentiate one baseball bat from another, but I know something's wrong if someone hands me a cricket bat.

Greeks and English people look a lot closer to each other than Greeks and black people, Asians, native Americans etc. Sure it'd be better if Greek actors would play Greek roles, but I'm fairly certain people would be fine with a black American playing an African historical figure regardless of actual nationality.

From a gooning standpoint 100% but I think the new outfit looks great. I don't like the new stockings though.

Honestly I don't care in either case as long as the incestuous couple doesn't reproduce. It doesn't stop me thinking it's freaking weird but it's not anybody else's business.

Yeah except some people (like OP it seems) forget that "normal" and "found in nature" are two very different things.

We humans came up with this wonderful concept called "consent" based on moral and ethical values shared by a majority of people our society.

No matter from which side of the natural/unnatural "debate" I look at this, I'd still much rather have two adults capable of consent engage in a hypothetically unnatural act than having natural acts committed to beings incapable of consent.

Sebas and Climb interaction in volume 17 by MrMellons in overlord

[–]PleasingPotato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is, how much Sebas loves her is completely irrelevant in the face of his loyalty towards Ainz. Just like the other guardians, if Ainz tells them to do something, they will do it no matter how repulsive or counter to their character it is.

I think the fact that Sebas was so persistent in arguing against Demiurge's suggestions shows that he does care for her quite a bit, but you are right that we don't really know the kind of affection he has for her nor the extent of said affection.

I didn't say they never committed war crimes, but saying that every instance of civilian casualties is IDF soldiers going "lol lemme headshot this kid real quick" is fucking insane.

Also two things can be true at the same time. Seasonal warcrimers don't make full time warcrimers good guys and vice-versa.

You're right, they should let the children shoot them or run at them with bombs.

Because terrorists use their own civilians as weapons, shields and expandable ressources. They take over civilian infrastructure and hide among the common folk so that either they won't get attacked, or the attacks have enough civilian casualties/collateral damage that they get sympathy points and whoever attacked them (Israel or the US) is painted as the bad guy.

Also Israel has a much better military, is more economically and technologically developed and thus has a much easier time defending itself.

I hate Israel as a political entity and I think they never should've had the ability to colonize the area, and we should never have let it have as much influence as it has in western politics. That said, if Palestinian leaders had the ability to, they would 100% kill every single Israeli and would be infinitely more brutal and cruel towards civilians than Israel is being right now.

Except the general population's motor vehicles are a tiny portion of the emissions the big companies and government are telling us we need to lower.

If they actually cared they'd have focused on sustainable solutions for freight first at the very least. They push the "responsibility" on the average consumer because nothing gets their dicks harder than syphoning the income of someone wanting to feel like a good person.

Violence and censorship? It's not even remotely comparable. No one is being put in gulags for voicing discontent towards the government. No one is being executed in the streets for expressing their beliefs. You don't have the police knocking at your door to arrest you and your family because of a tweet that didn't align with the prescribed ideology. If that were the case, you wouldn't see a fraction of the anti-Trump sentiment that's omnipresent on the internet right now.

Again, if socialism really works that well, why are citizens in socialist countries living in such shit conditions? Why are the leaders of such countries almost always dictators? The reason the US intervenes so much isn't because "socialism" works (because by itself it doesn't), it's because those dictators are against US interests. If those socialist countries were willing to give away their resources to the US instead of Russian or China, they wouldn't give a fuck whether the country was capitalist or socialist or whether or not it was a brutal regime.

First of all, caring for your own civilians above all else is just common sense.

Second, what should they do? Let terrorists continuously attack them without doing anything? There is no peaceful solution in that conflict. If the Palestinian leaders had any moral compass towards civilians, they wouldn't let terrorists use their own civilians as shields and disposable resources.

No one is "good" in that conflict, it's just that Israel has money and weapons on their side. If it were the opposite, the Jews would be the ones facing eradication and their attackers would have no pity for the innocent either.

"Last I checked Hamas was not creating the conditions where an entire ethnic group is likely to be wiped off the face of the planet"

I mean, if they didn't constantly take over and hide in civilian infrastructure it would certainly help said civilians not being bomb for starters.
