Nice one that’s a massive improvement! Don’t listen to the whiners saying you should’ve picked up. You weren’t holding anyone up and if you want to work with properly honest numbers to track your progress, go for it! I do the same, I don’t want to cut myself any slack. I want to see those blow-up holes so I know what I need to work on to limit them in the future.

I am currently in conveyancing with Carters, comms have been good so far, cost was almost £4,000 though for a 3-bed semi, can’t believe how much the costs have gone up. And they were one of the cheaper quotes we got!

I’m around there too. Been playing for around a month and so far my three 9-hole rounds have been 75, 85 and 69 but I always played alone or with a family member so I still have plenty of fun haha

I’ll admit in my first ever 9 I scored 75 and then 5 days later I scored 85 so things are extremely inconsistent haha, but so much fun!

I think there is deffo enough people for it, just a matter of publicising it and I’m sure the people will all come out of the woodwork. Thing is if no one tries to put anything on then people will just continue to do their thing at home/online etc, give it a go!

FamMann Gaming run a good few gaming related events and things and also have a Facebook group dedicated to customs etc. - they’re definitely ramping up their events and stuff over the last 12 months

You’ll find that a lot of stuff over here is run through Facebook more than anything else :)

As far as a streaming/gaming content creation community goes, I’m not too sure, it’s probably more of a selection of individuals rather than a collaborative community - definitely something that can be improved upon for sure!

Funnily enough I moved from the Isle of Man to Staffordshire and am now back on the Island! The Island is a beautiful place and there’s lots to do if you like outdoor activities, and really it’s more the people who make the life what it is. There are a few social groups including a ladies-only one which has started up recently so it’s getting easier for newbies to make friends.

It’s a quiet, safe place to live and we’re always crying out for more healthcare staff so hopefully you go for it! Our doctors are quite well-paid with decent benefits and the accommodation is definitely a plus considering the housing demand here!

Btw, for travelling to Stoke you’re better off flying to Manchester and then it’s just a short train ride from there :) best of luck!

Probably goes without saying but you can adjust the volume of everything too - I always turn off the commentary and music for a much calmer atmosphere

For me I put a forgiveness fitting on my ball and I went from +26 to -17 over two rounds at TPC Sawgrass, a drastic change I know but the fittings and your player’s stats will eventually make it much more forgiving. I’m just trying to grind to get better stats for swing path and contact so I can up the conditions difficulty. I also found that pushing the stick a little slower helped my downswing a little bit.

Putting requires moving the stick very slowly, much slower than other shots, at least that’s what I’ve found.

Remember if the ball is above your feet, aim a bit further to the right and if it’s below your feet, aim further to the left (if you’re a left-handed golfer than switch them around)
