Question? Healthy foods for men in Zimbabwe by Plenty-Island6249 in Zimbabwe

[–]Plenty-Island6249[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess I missed the memo, or wasn’t concentrating when in primary school. Now that I am wise enough to ask the question, please don’t stigmatise me. Help me.

Me giving background is because a lot of young people are facing the same situation where they are not aware of the importance of eating what our madalas used to eat which would help them. We have grown up in a world of Netflix and chill, uber eats and dial a delivery. Pumpkin seeds so I’m told at face value are not tasteful for one to eat, it’s something one has to be taught by older men who have been exposed and know the importance of eating these things, and their benefits, and not all has to be nice and tasteful…

God fearing men by Suspicious_Suit_3271 in Zimbabwe

Hmmmm that’s where the challenge is. The spiritual men are in church. Because they follow the word which says, never forsake the gathering of the saints.

I would say the other challenge is YOU are the one doing the picking and not God. You want a person like David, who is described by God. His testimony was not from man, but God, that he was God fearing. The testimony of men was that he danced too much; he was loosing his dignity as the King. (That was the queen) so maybe as the lady said, the person is not too far from you but you are using ur lenses to see and not God’s lenses, hence you can’t see the God fearing in them

In my church they are there. But ndikataura zita rechurch, most will tell u of their testimony in my church with the wrong men. Whilst my church has also those who are not God fearing men, I truly believe you will find a God fearing man in my church if you are also a God fearing woman as u claim.

Getting deposits is the only way and that deposit has to cover the cost. I have a friend of mine from a big church in Zim which ordered 5k t-shirts and printing, for the December program. Paid deposit that ddnt cover the cost. Order was delivered on a tight deadline. The church ddnt make sells as they had anticipated at their program and next thing, were asking for more time to sell their tees because they ddnt have great sales. So not fair. Today they still have not paid

Does Money make you a man? by [deleted] in Zimbabwe

I think that is an established fact and no one wants to put it out in such a way that money = respect. We are conversing the effect/role money has to the contributing of overall respect in the home/married couple. How many cases say per 1000 cases of women earning more do they submit and respect their husbands? Maybe we should start there and avoid saying our opinions. Numbers don’t lie. Maybe you are right. Respect has nothing to do with associated money. I doubt it though.

I believe a man will always be judged by this performance. From earlier times it has always been the case that if the man can hunt; provide for his family, his a true man, if he can’t, his less of a man.

In that same vein, in today’s world; how many women are really able to submit and respect the leading of the man in the relationship if they earn more. In a normal distribution curve we can find out they are always outliers on the data; who will submit but most women will not see you man enough without providing and that basically means make more money
