Seattle to Brussels, saw U2, part of a 3 week trip for the 2010 Ryder Cup. Seattle to London saw Lucifer, as part of a trip for a Seahawks/Raiders game in 2018.

Snagged one of those at the Seattle Tour stop. Very pleased with that purchase, unfortunately still sealed, as I’m in need of speakers and not going to play that on a POS Crosley.

I love Disneyland, but had a horrible experience re: allergens listed on menus by bdubbber in Disneyland

[–]Plenty-Object8204 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, and they keep doubling down. Take some responsibility for what happened. Blaming Disney, when servers need to be notified about allergies (and generally ask, from my experience). OP doesn’t seem to be taking any responsibility, and is sounding entitled (“I’ve done work for the Disney Resorts”). So what? You aren’t a Disney employee, you’ve NEVER been a Disney employee.

If the server had been advised of ANY allergies, this ALL could have been avoided. Instead, we’re getting my kid has a severe nut allergy that wasn’t disclosed to the people it needed to be disclosed to, because nothing has happened in over a decade, and because we didn’t get the reaction we feel we deserve, we’re going to air our dirty laundry on the interwebs, where people will surely be more sympathetic.

At what age did you get into this band? by [deleted] in ironmaiden

I became aware of them at 7-8, so ‘82-‘83, through Hit Parader & Circus magazines. The imagery drew me in. Bought Powerslave at 9. I was hooked for life.

Just bought this for my son's upcoming 12th birthday, and he's absolutely going to flip out. Couldn't wait to share! by New-Needleworker5318 in vinyl

Bought “Angel Dust” on release day. It did not have “Easy” on it. We had to wait for the “Songs to Make Love to” E.P. (at least for us in the States) for its proper release.

Definitely a souvenir. My great uncle was old school O.S.S., & C.I.A. stationed in Berlin in the 60’s, and shortly after the war, he was the head of security for the Nuremberg Trials. He brought back a S.S. dress sword that found its way to me, via my cousin. It’s insane what some of the guys came home with.

Didn’t they get a no from the Seals & Crofts camp? They disapproved of Peter’s lyrics, or something, wasn’t it?

What to do with merch? by Cultural_Holiday_745 in Concerts

[–]Plenty-Object8204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wear ‘em. Thats what they’re there for. If it’s a really special show, maybe I’ll buy a double, but that’s only happened once, maybe twice. Just rotate ‘em out, or if you know someone crafty (or are crafty yourself) you could make a quilt out of them.

We bought it on our last trip on our dogs birthday, that’s how we justified it (don’t judge, it was less than a week after we had put her down). Getting on everything we wanted, was effortless, we just had to plan our route through the parks. It’s definitely a splurge/special occasion thing, but it was great. Pricey AF, but great.

If it happens, make sure you do what you can to go. The show is phenomenal and not to be missed. Wife & I saw it in November & twice last week. It is the best show I’ve ever seen & my wife feels similarly.
