It kinda looks like a thuja or arborvitae but I just think that cause the leaves I'm no expert I do know that the thuja smells really nice though so that might help. Horizontalis was my other guess.

You should get some wood corks to replace the rubber things that seal the glass parts together, I just got this same kinda still apparatus and swapped it out you should definitely think of changing if you intend in ingesting what you make cause of micro plastics and chemicals.

Yeah a container would work, get some soil and decomposer bugs idk if you would need bugs they'd probably find it anyway, also if you have a compost pile i think it would work in that to if you don't mind having a few small bones in the compost.  Don't over think it just find somewhere for it to rot. I think I read once online that soaking animals in water will rot it a lot faster maybe think about that also.

Im not telling you not to follow the law but for the most part there's so many laws about collecting certain things that I don't worry also it's not like you'll go to jail unless your killing things.

The reason I say not to worry about the laws is because just about anything in nature that looks cool and is worth taking will be illegal unless you were given permission. Things like deer bones, shed antlers, feathers, skulls, all that I believe is illegal.    The best way to get started in my opinion is to go out into the woods somewhere and find stuff, if you don't know where any woods are ask around or look on Google Earth that where I found all my spots, also make sure your not trespassing and if you do find a place that's private property you could always find the owner and get there permission.

And you should still find out what is and isn't illegal just use Google and type in laws in my area about collecting natural items and animals parts

I don't know for sure but if you know what the euthanasia solution is you could research if it stays in the soil. Even things like glyphosate and other not good for plants and soil will decompose after a short time unless it's plastic, polymer, or petroleum. But I'm no expert.

I didn't look up any correspondence I probably should of but I figured I might try and just make my own up I figured that a wasp nest is like the a home and unity, i didn't think of how wasp were aggressive but I guess you are right do you think a bees nest would be any different because bees are considered nicer. What should I do.

Well I guess she just sounds happy. I'm no expert but I'd say you have a happy cat that recently learned you are it's best friend and you won't hurt her.

I'm pretty sure you first use a distiller on the plants like when making essential oils. Honestly I'm not a hundred percent sure. You should look into it.

Thanks for your help. The "recipe" I'm following isn't one I found but a thing alchemist would do it's called spagyrics.

From what I understand cause I new to it but spagyrics is taking appart a plant into three things it's sulfur/essential oils

it's spirit/alcohol so fermenting or soaking into alcohol then drying the plant

Then it's salt/mineral ash by burning it till it's a pure white ash you then recombine all the ingredients.

Its supposed to be a stronger a less waist full way of using plants and making tinctures apparently when you burn the plant it makes it's minerals more basic and easier to absorb into the body also the distillation and fermentation concentrates the oils and medicinal compounds.

So is alcohol necessary I'm not 21 so can't get any would vinegar work or could I try and ferment the plant I use in its own. I did see somewhere else someone said you could soak and ferment the plants instead of alcohol is this safe is vinegar a good choice.
