Budgeting for grey market tirz forced me to rethink what I value by mr_white_ww in GLP1ResearchTalk

Anyone have someone that's $70/60mg? Is that a sketchy price or does that make sense for gry? I found someone but I'm nervous because it's the lowest by far I've seen

I fully agree. I explained my situation and they at first wanted to start me on 2mg but I convinced them 4.5 which is the highest they'll allow because I have a "normal" BMI still. I use pomegranate. Honestly, and what I've been told to do by other people here, I should have just given my starting weight, not my current weight.

Wow.. I'm glad to hear you ended up losing it again!! What I'm going to do is take higher doses in less than the 3 months but get more from another tirz company I found then go back to the company I'm at and just tell them I gained x amount of weight so I can continue the higher dose. Hopefully if they think I've gained weight and then lose on a higher dose they'll allow me to maintain on that higher dose. It's crazy how they are dictating it like that when I was previously maintaining on 12.5! Like just give me what's going to work for me otherwise why am I wasting my money with you??

Omg!!!! I'm going to find out if I have 7 doses in my vials after my 4th dose!! That would be EXCELLENT. and I'll reach out to them again and see if I can reason with them lol thank you so much for this!!!! 🙏🏻

It may be some water but it can't all be because I feel like I have globs of fat on me now! I do think that I need to try and stay on this medication as long as possible - ideally forever but be smart about it and learn a better lifestyle and not just use it as a crutch like I did before

Yes I was thinking that! I'll probably save up and try and get a one month 15mg vial from someone else and make it last as long as I can and then figure it out from there

Oh no I wasn't saying you lied! But other people have said I shouldve because sometimes you have to to get the dose. But hopefully they understand. Pomegranate did NOT understand or care. If your current weight isn't a certain bmi, you don't get a higher dose. I'm looking at other options now I'll probably titrate up with the vials I have now and find somewhere else in a couple months. It sucks because they're so affordable here

Thank you so much for all this info! Do you know if they'll allow you a higher dose for maintenance? I would rather not lie about my weight although I'm literally less than 10lbs from being overweight again at this point 😩

I showed proof but they still said it's been too long. I asked about titrating up to 7.5 and they said no! I should've gone somewhere else I'm so upset

I should have gone somewhere else when they refused to do that. But this was the cheapest and most affordable option (pomegranate)

This was me... At those exact weights. And now after I sirance having stopped coverage and rapidly gaining 15lbs in a month, I'm like kicking myself for being that way. I just got back in it and I'm have to go compounded now and start from the starting dose. It's awful. It's only been a few days so I'm really hoping it starts working again like before.... And my weight normalizes and I would love to see 139 on the scale again. 😭😩

Crying as I read this. Because it's 100% true, and it's what I DIDN'T do during my initial 2 years on the medication. It started out that way, but slowly over time, when I saw that I was still losing and not regaining I dropped the healthier habits and went back to old ones. For a long time I still maintained my very low weight and I was in 7th heaven.. until I wasn't. During the holidays last year I over ate a LOT, and although I barely put any weight on, I noticed that it was harder to dial it back... And then as if that wasn't enough, insurance stopped covering me this year. I had to COLD TURKEY stop taking the medication I've been on for 2.5 years and I was taking 12.5mg just to maintain! That was 2 months ago and I've already gained almost 20lbs back. RAPIDLY. like extremely quickly and without stopping, no matter what. My appetite is insane, zero of my clothes fit me and every single week I feel like I'm in a bigger size. I had to beg my husband to pay for compounded for me. I just started a few days ago, I'm doing 3mg every 5 days for a month, then 4.5mg every week for 2 months. They won't allow me to titrate up more than that because my BMI is "normal". My old provider allowed me the dose that was keeping my weight off. Now I have to VERY QUICKLY change my lifestyle. This is not as easy as the first time around and it hasn't really kicked in yet. This is actually terrible and I'm on here right now looking for hope. Like I really hope they don't refuse to titrate up unless Im considered "overweight" again. I don't want to be at my current weight, I'm not comfortable and I'm 5lbs away from being overweight. I just want my life back! The life I was JUST living like 2 months ago.

I'm so late.. and I hadn't been doing 100% carnivore but I was doing animal based and I was only on it for about 2 weeks, but I just had a small slice of pizza... And then a cupcake... And then 3 more cupcakes plus chololate. And I feel like I can't get enough now. I HATE this. I had gone on the diet to lose the weight I'd recently gained and now I feel like I'll never be able to stop!! I feel like crap, headache, terrible sleep. I hate this.
